She was just going to use them with her 3DS for playing animal corssing and other similar games, so musical quality wasn't that important - just enough to hear the beeps and bops in the game. I did know that there was a volume limiting 'feature", but the volume is so low that they are unusable. I know these are just a novelty item geared towards kids. Kids play 3DS games too, although not with these headphones if they want to hear anything in the game.

Poor Design

I expected this to be built for the younger crowd, but the cord broke very easily. Luckily I am handy, so I used a old earbud set and integrated it into this unit with better materials. Would not buy again.
