An LED lights up to identify the charger is on. Sturdy Lightening pin cord has always identified my i-Phone 5 and charged it. I would recommend this product to any i-Phone 5 owner.

Great car iPhone charger!

Like this one better because it's 2 piece and I can replace the charging cord if needed.
