I really like this case. I needed to get a case that provided extra protection for the screen as it was replaced after an incident which also bent the case and it was recommended that I get something that would securely hold the screen. This case does that and more. all the ports have covers, so in a sandy, windy environment the iPad is very well protected. And the iPad feels good and secure in my hand. The only (minor) issue, is that it is sometimes difficult to get a tap recognized in the very corner of the screen because of the screen cover and cushioning all around the case.

I bought this case after someone dropped and cracked my iPad screen. It is great. A little bulky bit I don't have any worries about dropping it now

The Griffin Survivor case is incredible for durability and protection of my new iPad 3rd gen. The case has saved me 3 times (in 3 months) from falls that should have messed the iPad up! It is an expensive accessory, but well worth it in terms of protective insurance. It is more bulky than the iPad without a case, but I'm getting used to it. Overall a nice product.

Great protection rubbery feels to give you a good grip on your ipad.

I like the product and was very unhappy when I realized that it does not fit the iPad (3rd generation). If I owned an iPad2, I would be more than happy with the product. The package states that it works with both the iPad2 and the new iPad; however, due to the fact that the new iPad is slightly thicker, the outer edges do not lay down like they are supposed to and it crinkles up at spots (which lets in dust and water). Also, the spot for the power button is pushed lower because it does not reach the button and you have to push it in to place in order to use the button. Makes using the iPad much more complicated than it should be. I would recommend this product to anyone that owns an iPad2; however, not a New iPad.

The big positive this item has over the Otterbox is the ease of taking the product on and off the device. The one disadvantage it has is small items tend to work their way underneath the cover (cat hair...etc) which facilitates you have to take the cover off to remove said item. I have since given this item to a co-worker who likes it a lot.

The Griffin Survivor Case is a good case, with a little needed improvement. It is a rugged case, and like most in this category, a bit on the bulky side. The "feel" while utilizing the iPad is nice... comfortable for a guy with big hands. Access to the iPad "buttons" (power, volume, home) is nice and the case does not interfere with functionality. I am not a big fan of the charging port cover. It's ok... but I don't like it for reasons I can't explain other than a personal preference. A SURE positive is that if you like using earbuds/headphones, you DO NOT need some funky adaptor to carry around to use them like Griffin's well known competitor. I probably should've rated this case a 5 for that reason alone.

Bought this just wanting something that would protect from side impact and found this, buying it reluctantly. AM I EVER GLAD I DID! This is a great protection kit! It give good use of the tablet while providing excellent resistance from moisture and external forces from all sides. I even poo poo'd the lil stand that came with it as garbage.. guess what! I use it all the time! I'd highly recommend this product!

Easy to use. Good protection, sturdy. Nice stand without having to take apart. Nice gripping feature, less likely to slip out of hands. Cheaper than other brand and less pieces to deal with to be able to use the iPad.

Purchased for use when kids (under 8) are using the iPad. Packs well for travel, does not add too much bulk. A little tough to get it set perfectly when "installing" but it ends up with a great fit. Keeps iPad secure if dropped, which it HAS been! Great value for the price!

I like the case for it's good protection. It seems well-made, and is light and easier to use than otterbox. The support stand sucks, however. Can't really use touch screen with stand because it just falls over.

Not too bulky. Provides some protection if you drop it. Fit is good and easy to install. front plastic is a little thick. Go with a screen protector that sticks on and you have a winning combination.

I was looking for a case that could withstand the numerous drops from an active 2 year old. After reading about several cases and asking friends in the same situation I finally decided to spend the money. VERY well worth it
