I'm pretty rough with my device, I carry it EVERYWHERE so the Griffin Survivor case offers the right amount of protection without overdoing the rugged look. The only con is the case muffles some of the sound so not great for using while watching videos/movies if the device itself will be the source for audio.

Case is very durable, but the screen protector could be improved. I’ve used mine for a few years, and the screen was scratched within a few days. It was advertised as “military grade”, but it looks pretty bad now. On the plus side, my iPad is in great shape!

I like this product. Since I will be taking my IPAD on a trip...this gives me a sense of security that I will not damage my IPAD.

Great case. Has everything you need including a screen protector. Good gripping texture to case. Includes a prop-up stand.

thinner than old case so I like that. Great for kids. Just in case they drop the tablet.

My oldest daughter thought this would be great for the youngest, who is 12, for her new IPAD. This is a great case.

This is a great case and makes the ipad pretty much indestructible. This particular model's fit and weight is better than previous models. It was a bit harder to get the ipad Air into it and snapped together (as opposed to previous versions), but this doesn't really bother me because it will be the Air's permanent home.

My son who is in the Navy got me one Christmas 2012. And I loved it. When I upgraded my iPad I had to get another one. It's a little bulky but offers great protection from drops moisture and dust. The silicone around the charging port is a little loose and keeps coming away. But other than that I love it.

I had survivor case for my previous ipad 2 which was heavy and clunky but did offer great protection. The new version for ipad air is lightweight, diff much improved design, offers amazing protection. It takes a beating when I am on my stationary bike, traveling, book bags, jeep wrangler, and dropping it.

This is our third Griffin case and all have been fantastic protective cases for all three of our ipads. Could not ask for better protection for our kids ipads, after many drops, nothing has been damaged! Highly recommend these cases!!

With this case I am ready to rock and roll. Never worry about drops or water to blemish my iPad.

I would definitely recommend this especially if you will be letting your children use your iPad.

The rubber grips good to your hands or when you prop it up against something. The downside is accessing the camera is a PITA, the rubber covering the lens is hard to move out of the way..

I do construction very good for me because I,m hard on things. This is very durable to throw around in my truck and not get damaged.Also it's easy to grip with case It would be easy for me to drop just the iPad and with the case it's easer to handle.

Overall the survivor case protects the iPad to the max. I have a similar on on my iPhone. The only draw back is the clear screen protector takes away from the quality of graphics. Graphics are so much clearer without the screen protector cover.

I'd really love to be able to use the iPad without a case, but since that is not practical for me, I'd highly recommend this case for it's level of protection. I had bought this case for another device and was impressed enough to buy it again.

worth every dollar!! already has been dropped from the top of the kids bunk beds, and you can't even tell. still works great and no cracked screen. didn't even know it happened until days later when the kids told me. protects great with little dirty fingers playing it all day.

Bought this for my son to protect his new iPad. It's perfect. He has dropped it, thrown it in his backpack, spilled on it, it's laid on the floor, fallen from a bunk bed and the iPad is still working and the case hasn't dented or cracked or broken. Great investment.
