Great sturdy case with one flaw. Minimal lip. It could be that mine was a defective one, but try it out before you buy it.

If you are never taking the case of it would be ok. I had to take it off and on my screen protector and it snapped into. I had only had it for 3 day.

So, like everyone else who is looking at cases for the iPhone Xs Max, you want to try and keep this expensive piece of hardware as protected as possible, but are trying to avoid the look of some of those ultra, bulky cases from some of the more well known case makers. I had pre-ordered this case to arrive at the same time my phone did on the 21st of September since I liked my previous version of the case for my iPhone X. However, after installing a tempered glass cover on the screen, and then putting the case on, I quickly learned that what lip protection this case offered was now gone (it was equal to the level of the screen with the glass shield on). That's not good with me at all. Given that the phone costs more than one month's rent for me, I want to keep this thing as safe, and as good looking as possible, and I don't want to take any chances. I don't doubt that the case isn't safe, which is why I did give it a 5-star rating still (I loved the previous version), but for me, I'm not comfortable with the lip protection on the front. I'm taking it back. Luckily, I had found two other cases to order and had delivered, one of which has great lip protection, even with the glass shield on. Just wish it was this case.
