I looked long and hard for a case that's completely clear to protect and showcase my phone. The iphone is so beautiful, why cover it up? That's why I wanted a clear case. This is as close as I could find, the back is clear with a black rubber bumper on the sides. I really hoped the entire case would be clear, but this will do. It was easy to put on and doesn't fit really tightly so it makes it easier to remove occasionally to clean out any dust/debris that gets in between the case and phone. I like that it's one piece vs. 2 that snap together over the phone. I haven't had trouble with the case falling off. This case will protect your phone from minor bumps and scratches, and is by no means a heavy duty case. I'm quite careful in handling my phone and other electronics anyway. The soft rubber bumper provides a better grip so it's not so slippery and easily dropped. The bumper also protects your screen from direct contact with a surface when placed face down on a table. The case doesn't protect the front in a pocket or bag so I use the clear screen protector that came with my phone. I was a little disappointed when I initially saw that the bumper would cover up the volume and on/off buttons since I've had previous cases like that and it was difficult to use those buttons with the case covering them up. This case doesn't hinder use of those buttons at all so that's a plus. Overall I am happy with my purchase and it was on sale, but still pricy considering that it's just a small piece of plastic and rubber.

It fits as described and provides excellent protection for the phone from any general fall that may occur. It slides easily out of your pocket.

I have an Otterbox. And though it does what it is designed to do in protecting the iPhone, I dislike how it weighs down the phone. So I spotted the hard shell on the rack and thought I would give it a try. The case fits well, and the rubber around the outside has protected the phone after a few tantrums I've had where I wasn't so gentle when I laid the phone down after disturbing calls. The clear plastic in the back allows people to still see the slick styling of the iPhone, rather than covering it up with hard plastic.

Bought this black shell case for my husband and it works great. Meets all his needs and nothing more. Looks really good on his black iPhone, easy to put on, rubber side grips and clear back. (Just like the picture). I purchased the white for my white iPhone and luv the white on white. Other reviewers complained about how dirty they get, but we have no complaints and on the other hand . . . We take very good care of our iPhones. Yes the back will get scratches on it (you kind of have to expect that to happen with all the continuous use these phones get), but no big deal and the white is still a brilliant white on mine. The black one did cost more than the white but either way, well worth the money for the protection we get from accidental falls. When they wear out I will definetly buy the same ones again. Oh . . . They don't have them in their stores . . . At least we were unable to find them even with their sales help, so the only way to buy this particular shell case is on-line. Enjoy ; )

This is a good case if you want something small and compact that isn't too heavy or bulky. I like the simplicity of it. It's basic, not too showy, comfortable to hold, and just does the job for protecting my phone. I wouldn't trust this case if I were too rough with my phone, dropped it a lot, allowed children to play with it, etc. But for a basic case, it's nice and recommended.

The only IPad case still available at my Best Buy store for a iPhone 4! So I bought it. It works just fine.

This is my business phone which is utilized alot, this fits nicely around the phone, gives it the protection that fits my needs. Even with the case, my phone fits into my holster.

I like the clear case a lot. I have a special picture that I can use inside of the clear back that makes it "my" phone. The bumper provides pretty good protection, and I am not rough with my phone. The price was a little steep, since I have seen clear cases for much less since I purchased this one. However, I really like it.

This is the second time I bought this case. The first one lasted me two years so the durability is great. I love the clear backing so I can drop in my own picture to customize the case! The only downside is that the rubber will stretch out the more you pull your phone out of the case.
