A must have for Steelbook collectors especially fans of Rodriguez and Tarantino.

I'm really only a fan of Death Proof in this collection but, the steelbook was too amazing to pass up. The detail on it is great and I'm definitely going through a steel book collecting phase. Death Proof has some of the best dialogue which is not unlike any Quentin Tarantino movie. The Story itself is a little basic, but the characters really improve upon that. Poor Rose McGowan is all I have to say. Pick up this movie for some great dialogue and some pretty cool stunts action towards the end.

The artwork on this steelbook is great which is totally worth the purchase. While watching the Grindhouse edition, it combines the 2 films into 1, I started noticing scenes were missing from both. I should have figured scenes were cut to make the length manageable but still a little disappointed. I will be buy the originally releases of each film for viewing and keep the grindhouse edition for looks.

This is a great collection of some of Tarantino, Roth, and Rodriguez's best "retro" work. The movies are nuts, the actors are among the best in the business, and it is all campy as heck! Yeah, it is the kind of goodness only these guys could bring you, and it is where Danny Trejo finally got his breakout in the form of Machete! Love it!

I had prided myself in having all of the Quentin Tarantino movies, but the truth is I never had DEATHPROOF. In the years I’ve looked for it, I’ve never seen it paired with PLANET TERROR, which is my favorite zombie flick. In a steel book no less? You got yourself a deal.

This would almost get a perfect score from me if it was just “Death Proof”, but “Planet Terror” also has a bit fo fun in it as well. Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez teamed up in 2007 to give us this ultimate tribute to the exploitation films that used to play in grindhouses throughout the 1970s. It isn’t perfect, but it is a hell of a lot of fun.

For those who collect steelbooks, this one took quite awhile to make its way to market. Originally announced for March 2018, this one sort of had a dry release. Not even listing as available until Fall 2018. I just barely got notification (Nov 2018) that I was able to purchase it through the B.B. website. And what a glorious steelbook it is. I’m glad to finally have it only my shelf. Given the content, and some of the newer steelbook designs, the artwork could’ve been something special, but here it’s just slight better than average. Though still leaps and bounds better than owning the original release in the plastic blue case. For the films themselves, this was more an event than just a movie. In the theaters it was a real experience. 2 films in one bang, back to back, with faux trailers and theater ads in the middle. This brought back some memories of the drive-ins for me, though still a decade removed from these type of experiences. Rodriguez starts the film with his nod to John Carpenter sci-fi/siege type films. As well as a nod to Romero type zombie horror. This one is effects heavy and full of action-cheese. The tongue in cheek humor hitting in all the right places. And typical to Rodriguez films, full of some truly cool moments. On the back end is my personal favorite, Tarantino’s Death Proof, a genre play on slashers, mixed in with high octane toad films and John Hughes type girly-flick plotting. This one feels more true and natural, almost nothing effects used - per Tarantino’s usual film MO. What begins as a talky-talk girl’s quest to find a fun time, all while being stalked by someone in the background, slowly turns into a high speed game of cat and mouse with cars. A bit heavy on dialogue for some, this film really hit a lot better f high tension marks. I can honestly say I didn’t leave the edge of my seat for the last 20-30 minutes. All the stunts were performed without ropes or harnesses, and one of the female actors rides on the hood of the car at 80mph, WHILE the driver dodges attacks from another car. Insane stuff. Overall, I really wished we got to experience more films like this in theatres. Though I am glad to own it!

What a great release for Tarantino’s & Rodriguez’s Classic B-Film, Grindhouse! Amazing art, great colors, awesome addition the collection! Great price for one of my favorites from both directors!

You can't go wrong with this set if you're a Tarantino/Rodriguez fan or a fan of these movies in general. A whole disc of bonus features was a nice touch! And in a steelbook!

I'm one of the few people that went to see this in theaters and I actually love both movies. When I saw this steelbook I knew it was time to upgrade my dvds.

This steelbook looks great, and its nice to have both of the movies, however it should be stated that these are the cuts from the double feature released in 2007. If you are looking for the director's cuts of each, then you'll have to find them elsewhere.

“Grindhouse” is undeniably one of the greatest genre films made. Ruthless and filled with outlandish thrills and laughs this is niche filmmaking at its best!

This cult classic movie was finally released on blu Ray. let alone its great steelbook look. plus rose McGowan as the amazing actress. great movie.

If you like B movies, these are both awesome. One is a psycho/revenge thriller and one is a outbreak/zombie horror.

This double feature SteelBook is very cool from the inside like the style and design! A must have for fans!

Cool to get them together like when it was in theaters. A great homage to an old school double feature.

I use to have them but somehow they are lost. I went into Best Buy and they had them as a set so I took it home.

The box art is very cool, and it honestly feels like you're getting 3 movies for the price of one. Only downside is there's no digital copies which is weird considering it's a steelbox.

Great movie from back in the day that would probably no be possible to make there lose days.

Two great genre movies for the price of one. You know what you're getting with this one.
