I bought this to watch with my great-nephews (ages 8 & 9) and my great-niece (age 3). Their great-grandmother and other extended family were going to be watching as well. It was actually enjoyed by the entire family over the holidays. We had a pajama day and baked cookies, played games and watched movies. This movie turned out to be the hit, for we watched it three times. Surprisingly, the 3-yr old girl is the one who kept asking to rewatch. And, it still held the attention of the older boys. It had just enough action I suppose. I would think it would also depend on the audience. These are three very tender-hearted kids who love animals. It might would bore some boys...especially those teetering around that age. But, for less than $5, it’s worth the risk. Overall, just a very cute movie...even for adults who are accustomed to watching younger-type films for the experience with the children/family.

I got this as a gift for my sister and since it is a Christmas version of grumpy cat I gave the gift early from pre-order. Her expression said it all and got the message back that this film is lengthy for a special on grumpy cat. And she loved every minute. If you are a fan of the cat this is a great last minute gift!

This was bought for a Christmas movie gift every week leading to Christmas. My boys love it.
