The squad member was from a contract company. He accomplished everything on the work order. However, he may have been hard of hearing? He was extremely loud, to the point of screaming! I was in a business call and he constantly interrupted and was not at all polite about it.

TV only needed to be set into mount on wall snd reconnected to cable box and DVD. Unfortunately they blamed the cable box being out of date and an adapter missing to connect DVD player as the cause. They never looked at manuals or showed me what adapter they were talking about. They left telling me to get an adapter and they would come out again to connect.
I called our Best Buy consultant who checked everything before this team came in and he come out the next day and within 10 minutes had everything connected. The adapter was right there on the console next to the manuals. Thank you Jarrod, for your looking out for your customers.
Poor rating is due to original crew poor setup of new TV and moving 3yr old one to another spot.

Although the installation took multiple trips by the Geek squad, all people involved were very friendly and willing to try. Some problems that appeared to be from lack of training but eventually the final lady who finished up the job did a great job.
I would recommend this to a friend

My TV install

The technician did arrive on time however when I confirmed the appointment I reminded him that mounting the television would require a second person, he said he did have a second person and did not. I asked him to lower the television and said it could be done within a month. The second technician arrived and was complaining about the next customer she was going to. Lastly, they kept repeating thankly they only had one more job. I use Best Buy for a lot (TV, home security, gaming, home electronics) and I have to say their customer service is worsening every year.

They had to reinstall the cable and then take down the TV install the TV again. the new cable they put in was bad. so they had to get another one and reinstall that. That took time maybe 2 weeks after that everything work good

Agents mounted my Samsung TV and after multiple tries to connect the voice command and Alexa, The Geek Squad could not connect Alexa and the voice remote. I ca not, understand how Samsung could sell this 85" TV knowing these problems. After 6 trips to the store and the Geek Squad being at my house multiple times the problem still exists. Problem I will have to live with, DISAPPOINTED !!!!!

Our TV died after a month. Geek Squad took three weeks to come out and confirm that it was dead, and then another month to bring a replacement TV. The new one that they brought had two large punctures in the TV screen so they had to take that back. We’re still waiting for the replacement TV. It’s now been over 3 months since we bought the original.
