I had heard about this movie when it cam out but thought it was going to be another semi-cartoon movie. I was wrong. I watched it one night on cable and had to be able to see it again. It is really good!

I went to the theater to see this movie so I already knew it was one I wanted to buy. If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you do. You will not be disappointed. There is humor, action, and even a few emotional scenes.

I loved this movie. I had never read the book/comic but I really feel for Starlord and his gang of bandits. Very interesting story line but the characters could just sit and talk and i would enjoy it just as much. The little varmint is fiesty and we all know that love and friends make beauty music together. Oh, and, lets not forget, "i am grut".

This proves that the Marvel movie franchise can support the less-than-serious comic lines with no loss of quality. This movie is funny, touching, and action-oriented in turn without sacrificing on any of those things.

My wife and I really enjoyed this movie. Although it lasted over 2 hours it kept moving and you never found yourself wondering how much longer. Its right up there with Star Trek and Starwars and I can't wait for more.

Look, I love Marvel, so they can really do no wrong, but I was definitely blown away by this movie. One of those movies where you think it won't live up to the tremendous hype, but then it still exceeds it. A must see.

This movie deserved all the hype and great reviews that it got. I just wish I could have gotten the Bestbuy steelbook packaging so that I could add it to my collection. Hope Bestbuy will release it again in the future.

Solid Marvel movie that adds more characters and depth to the Marvel Universe. Ranks right after The Avengers and Winter Soldier. Some really funny and serious moments throughout. Well worth adding to your collection.

I need to have this in both blu Ray and DVD but this one doesn't come with the DVD copy although you get the digital copy. Bought the DVD too anyways. Both was on sale so I got Both with my coupon, the best deal I got.

This movie is a good addition to the genre. It brings the action you are looking for, but it doesn't take itself so seriously and gives you the one line references that brings the appeal to generations of movie goers.

This movie is fun and funny and just wonderful. The best part is unlike other Marvel movies, there isn't a whole lot of needless action. The action sequences purposefully progress the plot forward.

Did not know what to expect from this movie but I loved it. I'm a huge marvel fan and was nervous to see if this would ruin the name, but it did not. If you like sifi movies or comic books this is a great one to get.

I'm not saying you have to see the previous movies. In fact, you don't have to see ANY of them. But, if you don't know the characters and you're seeing this as part of the MCU, it at least HELPS to know who some of these characters are, first. Otherwise, the significance of who they are and what's going on kinda goes over your head a little. I DO recommend seeing it. I just think knowing some of the source material couldn't hurt.

I had a chance to catch this in the theaters and It was a absolute must have when it came to home video. The picture quality is amazing and the movie is great. You don't have to be a marvel fan to enjoy this movie.

Packaging was not damaged, and the Blu-ray played on the first try. It was in stock at my local store, so I was able to purchase right away. Unrelated to the review rating, the movie itself was great!

The likable cast did an awesome job setting the stage for what I’m sure will be at least a trilogy. Just the right amount of laughs and action. Guardians is a great movie for kids and adults

This is a great movie! The previews did it no justice whatsoever. I went to see it at the theater out of sheer boredom and was so pleasantly surprised I couldn't wait for it's video release. You won't be disappointed.

To me GOTG is second to Captain America Winter Soldier for best Marvel movie to date. Very entertaining, lots of fun, & high replay value. Hoped for more features, but the steelbook is just amazing & well thought out.

I saw this movie with my family in the theaters not really know what the movie was about. My entire family loved the movie and I knew that I had to add it to my collection. I preordered it as soon as it was available.

I think that this was one of the most fun movies of the year on the big screen and I had to have it and the only place to buy a Blu-ray DVDs is at Best Buy. Also I wanted to make sure I was able to get a digital copy.
