Item came with slipcover and I didn't get into the entire guardians of the galaxy series until I was forced to by my kid and I loved it!

I hope the writers of the Marvel movie series are well paid, because they have definitely put in some overtime in the excitement and comedy in this feature. They blend a strong story with multiple comic relief insertions throughout. Not so much that it makes the story light but enough to keep it very entertaining.

I really like the artwork of the steelbook. The 4K presentation is an excellent upgrade to the Blu Ray which I felt looked a little flat. The UHD disc adds depth and clarity enhancing detail. But of course it's the HDR that make the scenes pop due to the wider color gamet. Definitely recommended.

Another excellent steelbook addition to the MCU collection. Great movie both visually and sound quality. The 4K version is nice but the 3D version is much more of an immersive experience. Got the 4K Steelbook version to add to the collection plus added an adhesive disc hub to include my 3D version.

Guardians of the Galaxy is great! Watching this you realize how much better the latest Star wars trilogy could have been. I bought the 4k Disk to verify/test my Sony UXB-700 player worked as advertised. It does. who would have thought that the cheapest new 4K Blu-ray player would be a Sony.

Phenomenal movie! Easy for any Marvel fan to love.

I had no idea what the movie was about. Never saw the trailers either. I bought it on a whim thinking I'd like it because it is a Marvel movie. To my surprise, this super-hero movie was not your typical super-hero movie. It was funny first and then save the world second. Can't wait for the sequel.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” is still one of the best and most original films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that’s saying something for such a great series. This film deserves to be seen not just because it’s part of a greater universe but because it’s just a great film in its own right!

As with most of the Marvel Avenger movies - great entertainment - and amazing how all the storylines from all the movies tie together and one picks up small clues from each movie every time one watches one. This is a great movie. Smart and funny. And of course ties in well with all Marvel characters.

Best Buy always provides great products, so this review is about the movie. If you haven't gotten into the Avengers movies, you really don't have to worry about that. This movie is good, even as a stand alone and has become one of my 6 year old son and I's favorites. Highly recommended

I seen this originally in theatres and enjoyed every minute of this movie and could not wait for it to arrive on Blu-ray dvd and since then have watched it multiple times and now own it on 4k disc and going to wear that copy out this is movie fun as only Marvel Studios can do.

Guardians of the Galaxy on steelbook is great since I missed out on the first go round of buying it. I'm glad I waited though because this one comes in 4K. I can't wait till the second movie comes out on 4K steelbook! Recomended for any Marvel fan to add this to the collection

Finally, the first Guardians of the Galaxy film is available on 4K UHD! This is a must-have for any Marvel fan and home theater enthusiast. The film is not only incredible, but the presentation contains vibrant colors, atmospheric surround sound, and a nostalgic soundtrack.

I truly love that they finally introduced the space aspect of the marvel universe. The movie is freaking hilarious as well as the action that is top-notch. The last third of the movie is amazing although I am very disappointed that they didn’t introduce Richard Ryder

Snappy one-liners, intriguing characters, action galore and awesome special effects. Pay close attention to the dialogue and you'll hear references to other MCU films that actually fill in a gap or two. My favorite one-liner: "I am Groot" packs a wallop in the final act.

Packed full of action, adventure, and comedy. This is how the guardians became my favorite team in the galaxy.

I was just filling out my collection and getting ready for Avengers Endgame that releases next week. I did not find a good selection of box sets in store that could have saved me $$$. The individual discs were at retail price, which was fine for the single movies I was missing.

I like the way this steelbook looks. Of course now that Disney owns the rights to all Marvel releases it's hard to find them at a decent price. It was great to find this steelbook on sale. The movie looks great in 4k HDR. Great Dolby Atmos audio track.

I've liked this movie ever since it came out. I stream it when it's available on Netflix or watch it when comes on cable, so I figured it's one I should own. The movie remains great and fun to watch, and picture/sound quality is good. However, Special Features are lame, limited to a few deleted/expanded scenes and minimal other interesting content. Disappointed in the non-movie component of the Blu-ray.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a great movie to watch, love the comedy in the show as well as the store line. Essential for knowing the full Avengers story line, watching again after seeing later movies you see things that might have missed in previous viewings.
