The positives: cute design, seems sturdy for kids, peter quill esque. Negatives: it comes with one song. One. Then, you can record like 60 seconds and play that back, but thats it, theres basically zero memory. The headphones cord is so puny, itll probably break within a half dozen uses. You can connect your own mp3 with an AUX cord and play those songs through the toy which is okay but just not what they said it was. The advertising makes it seem like you can record multiple songs to it and play it back, not that it has mere seconds of memory so that is really a rip off.

The best thing about this is it looks cool, for kids who are fans of Guardians of the Galaxy & Peter Quill it makes for a great costume accessory and/or toy. The downside is it plays a snippit of ONE song and that is IT. You can record a few seconds of audio and replay it but cannot save it. To actually use it to play music you have to connect your mp3 player. For kids that means carrying around 2 devices connected by a cord and earphones if desired which is impractical for the younger crowd. Its a shame for something with such great potential.

Mostly picked it up for my costume but it serves its purpose. It is a bit weird that the song is only a snippet.

This is a fun Cosplay or Halloween costume accesory that is actually functional. The description is deceiving as it doesn't actually store a whole library of songs as it implies but it does allow you to record one and change tone or pitch or modulation and you can hook any headphone jack auxiliary player through it to play through the built in speakers. The concept is exceptional but the execution is poor in comparison to toys at same price point. Thankfully Best Buy has you covered no matter what and all I can say to the tiny man flying an egg through space is... ZARDU HASSELFRAU

Little tricky to figure out but works great and my kids love it, especially the fact they can record stuff!

This looks cool and brings back many memories of the old Sony Walkmans. Although this is made of cheap plastic (The first original Walkmans were made of metal and were $200) it get the point across and it is a fun item to have. It is an MP3 player and plays a boat load of songs, unlike the old cassette original. Everyone who sees it wants one!

My son loves it. It only has few preloaded songs but you can connect it to an iPod and listen through the headphones or with the Walkman speaker.

I picked this up for cosplay purposes. Works great for costume, especially after a repaint and you can hook it up to your phone to play anything!

sound isn't great, weak. Son liked it at first, but after an hour of bad sound he was done with it.

This has awful sound quality it's more of a novelty peace so just don't expect anything that sounds good

This is not what i expected . just made a mistake ordering this. Plus it does not do all the things it stated it is supposed to do. Ten year old will play for a while then throw in her toy box.
