Just the first movie and the new Spiderman reboot, marvel is pushing the rude and raunchy, and unnecessary sex talk into the main or side plots of the script. Humor should be witty, subtle, and clever - just like the way Stan Lee wrote the dialog in the comics in the 1960s, rather than to keep lowering the standard like everyone else. Bring back the quality that was in the first Captain America movie - don't be a DC rip off.

It’s not bad. The type of movie that you can enjoy if you don’t nitpick. However, read the next paragraph if you do. Action sequences are great but there aren’t many. The cgi is spotty at times. I must say the music isn’t as good as GOTG1.

Without giving away any spoilers, I'm sure everyone's seen in by now, but the best part of this movie was the opening credits. The rest was kinda ehhh.. Here's hoping the next one's better.

some parts are not bad but too much silly filler routines to extend movie time. Could have been shorter as ending isn't bad.

My kids and I enjoyed this movie. There is a lot more adult humor and innuendo then the first one. Still okay for the whole family.

Has some funny parts but this is my least favorite Marvel movie. Too much crude humor, can't watch with the kids.

Love these two films, but I feel cheated. Disney is actually pulling a fast one on ALL of their MARVEL 4k discs. NONE of these are native 4k. ALl MARVEL films are mastered in 2k... buch closer in resolution to regular BluRay. They are simply UPSAMPLING them for 4k, thus outright LYING on their video packaging, when they say that these MARVEL films are 4x the quality of BluRay. It is not true. Disney really needs to be stopped from being dishonest with their product and BestBuy should honestly get rid of some of this.... your video department is 33% Disney - repeated over and over again in several spots. One section would be more than enough and then send the rest back and expand your title library. Listen to your customers for a change.

Okay addition to my collection, pricing was right otherwise would have rented instead of paying full price.

Most sequels are not as well made as the original and nothing is different here. Was still fun to watch.

There's just something missing in this sequel. It's still fun but not as fun or funny as the original.

This was funny has usually and the characters seems to still have the same sense of humor.

I thought this was going to be better than the first one but it wasn’t it was a complete dud

The most astonishing thing about this movie to me is how fast I forgot the entire experience. I kinda remember that cool opening scene with Groot - but after that? Guardians of the Galaxy 2 moves from one action scene to the next with a bunch of random banter about an extended family... which is completely contradicted in the final 15 minutes. I also remember a bunch of absurd happenings during the action scenes. Improbable results, luck, weird environments that do not follow any known physics and characters screaming at one another over the ambient sound. To paraphrase someones wisdom - the script wasn't the result of time, hard work, skill and craftsmanship. Things happen on the screen because the screen writers say so. This is what many superhero films have become: glorified CG cartoons that feel like really long TV episodes. Ironic too - in an age of great TV writing, many blockbuster movies have been reduced to mass world wide appeal instead of any unique writer/director vision.

Descent movie to watch but didn’t live up to the hype after the first movie

I was very surprised with the first Guardians (as I think most people were). Taking a D-Level team and making them likeable, funny and throw in some nice action. However, right off the bat this movie feels a rehash in every scene it feels. And, in the vein of the Star Wars prequels, it feels as if all Marvel movies require 95% of the film to be CG. With this film, I can see some exception as it takes place in space and most of the people/environments are not of this world so it would be difficult to find a suitable substitute. However, there could have been a bit more of an effort to put more "humanity" in the film. Anyway, repeated jokes (baby Groot...) and the onslaught of puns put in every line was painful at times. The music was good, but let's be honest, I don't think they'll be recreate the surprisingly fun intro of Redbone's "Come and Get Your Love" ever again.

It was no where near as good as the first, but watchable.

This movie wasn't as good as the first one. I was disappointed.
