Great gift or purchase for anyone who plays Guild Wars 2. The dollar to gem ratio is the same as in game purchase, so you're not saving money. However, one can use it as a great present for someone special.

Living in Wa state, it is actually less expensive to buy GW2 Gems by purchasing a gem card than to purchase directly from the game store where it is required to pay +8% taxes. The Best Buy reward program gives an additional bonus that would not be earned when purchasing via the in game store. Can't beat that!

Not too much to be said about this. It's digital in-game currency for Guild Wars 2. The best part about having a physical card you can pick up in store is that you can give it out as a gift, as I do, and let the recipient redeem it without having to pay in-game.

This card is a great way to get gems in Guild Wars 2 if you don't want to pay within the game or if someone wants to give it to you as a gift. This is also the better option if you have reward coupons from BestBuy that you're not going to use for anything else.

I was looking for a present for a guild wars 2 player. Not many places had this gift card. I looked at amazon but they were overcharging for this same card.

This card is for in game money for the Guild Wars 2 game which has a significant family history for us. My sons have been playing for years and have enjoyed networking with other friends around the world. My children are in their mid twenties and have friends scattered about the US and this is one way they keep in touch. One son swears it is better than other social sites because there is no "tracking".

If you want gems for Guild Wars 2, then you already know what you are getting. Nothing much to say. Deals/sales are rare/unheard of, so the only real question is how much cash are you willing to spend on the Gems. you pick the amount, and get the card that matches it.

I love buying these cards from Best Buy because I could get the points and writing the reviews for it rather than buying it from the official site itself

This card is an excellent deal! You got a lot more gems in the game buying this than the $15 card and it is much easier than farming the gems. Plus, Best Buy seems to be the only store that carries both denominations, $15 and $25. Makes it much easier to choose!

If you like to use gems and would prefer not to buy them on-line like I do, this is the perfect way to do so. There is also a less expensive version of this one if people would prefer not to pay $25 for these gems. You can pay $15 and get 1200.

It comes in quite useful when I need to buy things from the trading post. Most people will just buy them online. I prefer to get them in-store which makes it easier to get.

These cards help you to either buy Gem Store items, or convert to gold within the game to buy items from in-game vendors or even from the trade post in the game. It also helps to make your quota for Best Buy reward zone membership :) WIN WIN!

While not required to play GW2 the gem cards are GREAT for just getting fun little things to use in-game,such as new outfits,and skins for armors. Can even be used to buy extra gold if you need it. Gem cards are just a fun idea for a GREAT game. :)

You can buy a lot of convenience items to make game time more enjoyable. Additionally it supports the game developers and allows them to conversely develop more content.
