Great guitar hero game way better than 1 not as much as 2 though if you play online you better play on expert or hard, the song list is a little out dated, i would like to see some newer songs put to the list with a little better guitar solos, controller (wireless) was a pretty good advance in the game, despite what people say the controller works, no sticky keys or anything like that, Most songs are well made, i would recommend this game to anyone, might just want to be 12 or older to reach the keys.

This is definitely the best Guitar Hero game that has been made yet. I will admit that it gets a bit boring after you beat it a couple of times unless you begin to download more songs from online or just play songs for fun. It also includes some great bonus songs, and also cool guitars that you are able to buy at the store. Well, the one in the game itself. Overall, it is by far, a favorite of mine.

I have this game and it's alot of fun has great songs you can play I love it

when u first start playing the game its hard. but its worth it after a while. and u have 2 put dedication into it. otherwise it takes a while. i think rock band overall is better. i have both but the guitar for guitar hero is better. rock band has drums and singing and soon 2 be bass so i would get it asap. byt for now guitar hero is good and i like it alot. the songs are harder on guitar hero 2 and the solos r not good on rock band but w/e get ROCK BAND!

Guitar hero is a great game for anyone and everyone to play! It is easy to learn and quite a few songs to learn to play. You can also purchase more songs to play or download free ones from online. I just wish it had more songs within the game or maybe a few more well known more recent songs to play other than that it was one of the best purchases I have made!!

The Guitar Hero series is a very entertaining one. It's a game anyone can pick up and start playing but includes ample challenges for the heavier game looking to master something most never will. The song list on Guitar Hero 3 is much better than the previous GH games with more recognizable bands. As the series picked up steam they had a larger budget for this game. GH3 was developed by NeverSoft whereas the previous games were done by Harmonix. The difference here is that NeverSoft looked more in depth at the songs to match the notes and chords and in doing so made this game considerably more challenging than its predecessors. There are many songs in this one that require a lot of practice and mastery of advanced techniques to complete on Expert level. People criticize saying you should just learn a real guitar and this can't possibly make you feel like you're actually playing. But, it does draw you in and is a good option for someone who wants to feel like they're part of the song without spending the time/money on a real guitar.

Graphics are sick and so are the songs. There are good songs. It's good.

this is the best music video game i have ever played. the song are the best like welcome to the jungle,one,through the fire and the flames,when you were young and a lot more of the best rock songs. i play this game everyday when i have time to. this is a must buy game for video game lovers

This game trully rocks. Get it now so you can be as addicted as I am. It may take a few turns to get used to the interface, but once you do, it will be difficult to put the guitar down. It's even better as multiplayer. I just wish I knew some of the new tracks on there. Ah well!

If you played guitar hero 1 and 2 then you wont be much surprised by this one it is pretty much the same except for new characters, guitars, and new songs. The songs on this game are better than the songs on guitar hero 1 and 2 combined i would recomend this to anybody.

this game is awsome because you can play all new songs from various artists. the career play is addicting and the songs are great. i would consider this game better than rock band becaue it kees it simple and you can play with only a guitar or go co op with a bassist.

ok time for a real review. i would definitely get the bundle that includes the guitar. the new guitar is an upgrade. there is a better "feel" to it and it's slightly heavier. the fret buttons and whammy bar perform nicely. the detachable neck of the guitar locks into place just fine. if yours has problems than you need to take it back. mine and 3 of my friends have this guitar and it works flawlessly. the wireless guitar connects just like a wireless controller. there are bosses to battle in the career mode. the only con is the song selection. alot of people including my brother like the tracks on guitar hero 2 better. BUT.....BUT.....since this game is xbox live compatible and has downloadable content.....microsoft will be adding more tracks in the future. between this game and halo 3 you will be set for a while.

This game is the same as the rest, just better. More options, less hassle, greater fun! better songs overall, and the controller is very good except for the detachable neck. oh well its a great buy ... bUY THIS GAME ITS SO FUN!

I was excited to get this from a friend for 10 bucks. However the game has nice graphics but the song listing is very disapointing. In GH2 you had a lot of heavier metal solos music to pick from, but when I saw weezer on the list I had to shut it off. I gave the game another chance and played through 3 1/2 songs, and not only does the listing suck but the guy who remakes the songs vocals butchered the music. GH2 had better songs worthy of Guitar Hero, and rock band which I just got is much better than both even when playing solo. All the songs I played in GH3 were poorly redone and its a shame since GH2 was done so well. And on top of all that the notes feel way off key compared to GH2. Comparing GH2 to GH3.....GH2 blows 3 out of the water with free bird alone. This game blows.

This game has more of the GUitar hero goodness than ever - and it's going ot be available on PC, 360, Wiiiii, PS3 AND PS2 (whoever said it is not coming out on PS2 should google it). It's Rock Band that isn't coming out on PS2 before next Spring. This game has Slash, Tom Morello, Brett Michaels as characters and The Pistols re-recorded songs just for GH3. Wow - awesome! This game is the biggest thing out there and I'm glad they didn't go down the road of gimmickry (Rock Band, anyone?). All that's been added is a bigger set list, more original recordings, better control, and more two player on-line stuff - what more could you ask for? The demo is great, the game can only be greater - and graphically it blows the previous games and Rock Band clear out of the water.

its a great game you just need more songs and to make it a little bit harder but if you have online you can get more song if you want to by just downloading them but just to let you know you should make the people pay to get more song well its still a great game to play

I bought this game because I had played it at my friends house and now I play it all the time. It was a good buy and the songs are awesome. It is fun to hear the music being played as you pick along on your own controller. It is overall a great game.

I suggest getting the 360 gh3 with the controller Because of 3 Reason 1:You can download the Halo theme and play it on this game 2:Better graphics than PS2 And Wii 3:You can get the guitar god

This game is a really fun game. The guitar that comes is recommended for it never breaks unlike the rock band guitar. There are many great songs on it and a lot more good songs for download.

A must buy for your guitar hero collection! Think of yourself rocking out to "One" on Expert or even better playing Through the Flames and Fire!! YAH! ROCK ON! YAH!!!!!
