    Excited for it to return

I used to be a huge GH fan back in the day. Heard about this coming and it got me all excited again. It is the same thing for the most part. Hit notes corresponding to the song. The new guitar will take some getting used to. Having played the old style guitar for so long my hands are trained to play that way. Now I have to change my muscles memory to work with the new guitar. My biggest complaint with this game is the lag and lack of calibration. Yes, there is a calibration option in the game but personally I felt it doesn't work that great. Or it could be the guitar not responding to the buttons I push. Either way, biggest downfall to me about this game.

This game is really fun. Took a little time to get used to the buttons but after some practice it became easier. The only down fall I see is casual is too slow/easy and regular is more like advanced play. Overall it's a great buy.

It's been awhile since they stopped making guitar hero. I'm so glad it's back and better than ever. It takes a little getting used to since I played the older versions so much, but it's easy to adapt to the new controller layout

GHL really stepped up how the game is played while still holding on to the classic feel that made it stand out. New guitar, "live" performances and the tv option are great additions to making this Guitar Hero one to check out.

I've been a GH fan since GH3. This game is pretty fun, but the learning curve is somewhat difficult. It's pretty fun. Once you play it a bit you start to get good. Instead of the 5 colored buttons you now have a total of 10 individual notes. It can be crazy at times. I wish they made the 6 fret notes not defined so you could know what button you are on. But hey, it's a great game and i recommend getting it!

Great game! Better game play from first version! More buttons may make it harder to catch on, but once you do this game is awesome! Great gameplay as it makes it seem like you are at a live concert!

Guitar Hero Live is not bad. I like GHTV, but can get boring after awhile. The campaign seemed short and Skrillex annoyed me. When I purchased the game, it came with 10 dollars to use in their store, which is roughly 75 song plays. They have hundreds of songs which really impressed me and seemed to be adding more every other week. Overall, it's worth maybe 60 dollars, but maybe I'm just getting burned out of this gen guitar games.

    Not exactly what I wanted

I ended up w/ the two guitar package when I only wanted the single, but was told the cheaper package ($99) did not have the guitar. Anyway, the guitar is plastic like the 360's, but the buttons are arranged differently, which I'm having a hard time getting used to. There are 2 rows of 3 buttons at the top where the strings would be, probably more realistically like a guitar, but I find it awkward to move my fingers, and more confusing trying to read the notes to hit the right button. Maybe it will get easier after I play more.

The game is fun, the mechanics are smooth, the new button configuration feels familiar while adding a whole new degree of difficulty. Sad about losing ten years of muscle memory.

First off, after playing a good bit I do like the new guitar controller. The six button layout allows for some awesome key combos. The game itself is a bit different than the old GH games. I've found myself on GHTV most of the time playing along with music videos. The game is still really easy to spend 3-5 hours in and not even realize it.

I have always been a fan of the Guitar Hero games. This one took a bit to get used to since they have completely redesigned the guitars. But, it's a great game. I was unsure of the gameplay, since you have to purchase songs with rewards, but so far we have had no issues being able to do so. Even my 9yr old & 11yr old can play with ease!!

Love the new controller - the two rows of three buttons feels like a new challenge as a long time player, and in many ways feels more like a real guitar. GHTV allows for good sessions and a wide variety of songs to play on-demand. Would like the option to permanently unlock my favorite song, but it's a good start for the revival.

Had to move the usb stick to the side port. The guitar kept missing up when the usb stick was plugged in on the back.
