difficulty jumps dramatically from casual to regular. There should be something in between for those bored on casual but not trying to master keys on regular.

the new controller is really fun to use and the tv mode is really replayable

I have always been a fan of the guitar hero franchise, despite a couple games. The new addition is awesome, the new guitar controller takes a bit of getting used to. Two different modes being live which is basically the story mode. The addition of an audience that reacts accordingly is interesting and pleasing. Guitar hero tv is where you will spend a huge amount of time playing songs from a growing list and premium shows which usually have live performances of a band.

Good, entertaining part game. However, not as good as the previous version.

This game is very challenging. Much harder than original guitar hero games.

This is a great updated game for any guitar fans in the family! Beginners to more experienced guitarists can find this challenging and fun. Highly recommend!

It was better than expected i'm so glad I purchased this product and I would definitely tell all my friends and family members they need to get it right away

We got rid of our first generation of Guitar Hero, but recently my kids were reminiscing about it. With it's new iteration, and a great price I grabbed it for Christmas and while a new style, they picked up where they left off. My daughter isn't really into video games, but likes this so it was nice seeing some sister and brother bonding - especially over music!

I got this great game for my brother since I loved this game since ps2

If you enjoyed the previous versions of Guitar Hero, you know what you're getting into. The major changes include six buttons stacked in three's removing the pinky finger completely. This was something I was able to easily adjust to. I really enjoy the "crowds reactions," although they become quite repetitive after a few plays. What really makes this game fun is the inclusion of great songs in an eclectic fashion, and the opportunity for co-op play with a friend. Only thing I wish they would do is have include all previous Guitar Hero songs from previous games.

Everything about this game is amazing-- the first person view, the interactive concerts, and especially the Guitar Hero TV. But wow the new guitar set up (with 2 strings of 3 buttons each) is terrible. The game relies heavily on chords, but the chords are un-natural. The game also differentiates the buttons by a black up pick (signaling the first string) and a white down pick (signaling the second string). It is very difficult to tell them apart while you're playing a song, so it makes for a lot of unhappy video game crowd members. The guitar hero tv feature is a cool addition and is a great way to just relax and let the game be your dj. It will play a random song from a genre you pick and pit you against other players. This game would be amazing if it used the traditional guitar set-up.

We love rock and roll, so this game is right on time. Not to get carried away, but I can get lost in some of the music, but the game is also a blast

The whole game overall is a true "next step up" for the Guitar Hero franchise and music games in general. I absolutely love the on demand streaming idea and it works out well. No more paying an arm and a leg for expensive dlc songs to buy when you can earn song plays, or if you DO want to spend the money you can buy a 24 hour pass to every song available. The new guitar and button configuration is also a huge plus. I honestly haven't felt this good about owning a guitar hero game in years and LIVE is so good I will probably not be going back to Rock Band.

the new feel of the software and the guitar are on point. couldn't ask for a better combination. Got mine for the PS4 and couldn't be happier!
