I am not a VH fan, but being a solid Hard dificulty player and decent Expert player the VH songs in this game are very fun to play. In my opinion GH5 is set up the best with graphics and game mechanics, but as far as fun songs go VH has it... I am referring only to the VH songs though, most of the non-VH songs on the game, while songs I like, not near as much fun to play. There is a section 3-4 songs at the end that are just famous solos, that are very cool and fun to play. If I hadn't gotten the game free with GH5, I probably never would have owned this game and I would have missed out on I think the most fun GH game I have played. FYI I have all GH games except smash hits and Metallica, so I can't compare it to those two, but compared to the rest it's great. Also the disk has mostly VH songs vs Areosmith which seemed to only have like 5 Aerosmith songs.

I got this game for free because I bought Guitar Hero 5. This is a great game and very fun to play. The graphics are not as nice as they are on Guitar Hero 5 but you will still get many hours of enjoyment from the game. The only disappointment is that there is no Michael Anthony or Sammy Hager. I hope Van Halen management can come to terms with them on this game. Adding Michael and Sammy to the game would make for great downloadable content!

It was a decent game to play. As a expert player this game is really fun and challenging. Although i got it for free, it wouldn't let me play career for some reason. Definitely reminds me of GH: Smash hits. Graphics aren't as good as GH5 and the vocals for the game aren't as well as GH5 but more like GH: World Tour.

This going to be an amazing game. Good thing its all David Lee Roth. Sammy Hagar and Gary Cherone tainted Van Halen's good name. Im going to have to find out a way to play all 4 instruments at the same time. I cant wait to blast the thunderous bass opening to Runnin With The Devil. Good lord this is going to be spectacular. I will never get tired of playing it

I love the game. Great because it was free with gh5 but i would have got it anyway. some people are upset about no hagar but if i read it right there will be some downloads soon. this is a must have if you love VH.

Lets be honest. Not many people actually go out of their way to listen to Van Halen anymore. I was excited about this release, because Van Halen have so many classic tunes! Thankfully, it was free for me because I bought GH 5. The characters have their current looks. I did not even recognize the balding David Lee Roth! The original bassist, Michael Anthony is gone, substituted by Eddie's 16 year-old son, Wolfgang. Worst of all, the original line-ups songs are the only songs that are included in the game. Many fans may argue that the Van-Hagar days were the best! However, playing "Eruption" is a treat!
