They are good. Block out a lot of the blue light. Slight magnification of .035 or .05 of objects

To be honest, I have no idea if these actually help with eye strain or headaches. I think they do, but it’s been really hard to identify a direct cause and effect situation. They definitely filter out the blue light well, and I think the screen images look sharper while wearing these. The fit is great though, and they’re comfortable to wear. So I suppose if they are helping with eye strain or headaches, I have no problem continuing to use them and believing they’re helping.

The GOOD: I use a computer all day all day at work, then hit the XB1 before the wife gets home so it's a lot of screen time. These glasses are pretty solid and actually reduce the eye strain and keep your eyes from going blood shot. I originally got them b/c I had PRK lazer eye surgery, while they helped a great deal with the glare off of screens. Now I have a pair for work and a pair for home. The BAD: you def look stupid in them.

As a Photographer and somewhat videographer, I tend to spend a lot of time looking at my computer screen and cellphone. I was starting to get eye strain and headaches and finally started looking into solutions. These were it, I've been using these for a couple weeks now and I can say one thing, I fall asleep easier and my eye don't hurt as much, nor do I get headaches. Highly Recommend for anyone who uses Screens for multiple hours a day

Somehow, they really do help when staring at a screen all day. My eyes don't feel as tired. Kind of like having a night light when waking up to the restroom vs turning on the main light. Not as much stress on your eyesight. Blocking off the blue light of the screen does help! The plastic feels really hard like if it could snap, but they seem sturdy enough and were at a good price.

    Actual Eye Protection

I had LASIK eye surgery back in september 2019 and I hardly did anything in front of the TV until the quarantine and at that point my eyes would burn and become red within an hour or two of using them for shows or games, so I bought these glasses (the ones I bought for an even larger price from EyeBuyDirect did nothing to protect my eyes from the strain and wear of blue light from my TV), they arrived quickly and they make my eyes feel like nothing is happening to them, the color does change but it makes sun in games feel like a summer sun, nothing bad in my opinion. They may look kinda bulky but you will appreciate the space it covers for that extra protection. If I could adjust the percentage of blue light reduction when buying them that would be my only problem keeping them from being a 5 star review.

Great product. I am using them already for a whole year every day. Must have if you are in the front of the screen more than 30 min a day. Tip, buy hard case for glases.

As an employee at Best Buy, I like to try new devices. I game for hours a day, and these have helped me SUBSTANTIALLY. My aim has improved and the headaches have been gone. I use a huge gaming headset and the glasses do not make it uncomfortable and work just fine while the headset is on. 10/10 recommend! It doesn’t help with dry eyes, is what I’ve found, however. :(

The glasses did reduce my eye strain and improved the display quality of the screen. A little too big if you have a small face. I like the quality of the product.

    There is no quality control

Gunnar is experiencing quality control issues with Intercept lenses. This includes deformity in the plastic frame of the lenses. It also includes numerous scratches on the glass that are not very noticeable, but if you wash them with soap and water and dry them well, you will be able to notice them. These are also defects that affect the quality of vision. I told Gunnar about three pairs of glasses that had problems and they are investigating. I don't recommend you buy any more Gunnar pairs. Look for another, cheaper brand, such as Horus X.

For the longest time I have been waking up in the morning and just not get a good night sleep. Even worse when I would try and go to sleep I would just toss and turn for like an hour. I read somewhere (I forgot where) that blue light from electronic devices will screw up your ability to get good sleep. So I got a pair of these glasses and wore them for about a week. I started to see results, would wake up feeling refreshed and had more energy at the start of the day.

The glasses seem to work and help relieve my eyestrains and headaches after staring at screen all day. I wish they could be a bit wider, but the shape and color of frame does look pretty on my face :-J

I Bought these blue light glasses a couple of months ago to help protect my eyes during college. I never really had a problem before, but due to the new change in screen time I started getting bad headaches. So, I gave these a shot and they immediately helped. Whether, I was gaming on my monitor or doing school work all I had to do was put them on and it was like there wasn’t a screen at all. I would recommend these glasses to anyone in a similar situation as me, or someone who even just wants a stylish pair of glasses that can be worn anytime.

Thanks to Gunar glasses as they help me with the dry eyes syndrome. I have much less tears, muscle tensions and tightness during the screen time (I still use Biotrue eye drops for dry eyes syndrome) Moreover, it has a very comfortable shape, weight and size! Also, I'm grateful to the Best Buy for the best price option.

    Eye Savers!

Bought these specs a week ago and wow, why did I wait so long?! I have been working from home for the last year and at the end of the work day staring at the monitors intensely, caused perpetual eye strain. My son who is a gamer, recommended a pair of Gunners’’ to end my eye strain. I was skeptical at first, but went a head and purchased them anyway. After a few weeks, I am pain free in the eyes! These glasses are light weight, provides excellent clarity, reasonably priced and are easy to care for. If there was a con, it would be style, but for the price point, I don’t complain. Of course, if you want splurge more for style, Gunnars come in many styles and price points. But for what I need them for and as I mentioned the cost, my eyes don’t hurt any more from staring at the monitors all day. One recommendation, make sure you have the right lighting in your surroundings. Anything too bright will take away the effectiveness. I found a semi dim lighting work environment perfect in conjunction with wearing these glasses. Truly eye savers! I am a believer of Gunnars!

I actually saw on youtube that the whole bluelight thing is not really proven science yet. what actually helped my eyes hurt less is that it makes ur eyes relax by making letters bigger, turns out that's whats been making peoples eyes tired as your eyes strain all day to look at words on the pc, and this helps ur eyes stop flexing. So I rated 5 stars for that, the blue light thing its up to debate until science prove its true

After purchasing these glasses I found myself having longer gaming session than normally. These glasses are for anyone that is constantly starring at a screen for more than 4 hrs a day. On the weekends I do 12 hr gaming session and these prevent everything from headaches to eye strain. Plus the yellow tint enhances the visuals of any game. I really love the fact that the textures in the game look much more crisp and sharp!

These were bought as a Christmas gift. I didn't read the reviews but knew that my daughter in-law had been wanting a pair. She absolutely loves them. They are comfortable for all day wear as she sits on a computer all day long. She even forgets to take them off and wears them outside the office. They help prevent glare and reduce the amount of headaches she used to get. Great product, I will be buying more for my son.
