I have used turbotax in the past which worked fine however H&R Block works just as well and more affordable.

At first I was mad because I thought that my smaller return was due to the software, but then I realized that my return was smaller thanks to the number 46 in the Oval Office (but I digress...) There is nothing wrong with the software. It works great. It is easy to use. This is a helpful tool that can speed the taxes up a little bit. It guides you through the process by asking you simple questions and offers tips every step of the way.

quick easy to file alot better than that tax program usually this one is a few more bucks but worth it

Have used H&R Block Tax Software for many years and have never regretted it. The 2019 H&R Block At Home Deluxe and State Tax Software was easy to install and use on my Windows 10 Laptop. As long as you have the forms with the information you need to enter to the Tax Program, filling out your Federal and State Taxes is simple and easy. Electronic Filing completes the entire process. I highly recommend this product.

Been using the Tax Cut program for many, many years. It’s a snap to use. I always get the Deluxe version with a state edition. Very simple to use. If you can read you can use this program and save hundreds of $$ by doing your own taxes and not paying someone to do them for you. They probably use the same program or similar program. Should not take more than an hour to do both federal and California state taxes.

I buy this software every year. It uploads your info from the previous year to save set-up time. Straight-forward and easy to use if don't have very complicated entries. My only down check is the 19.99 state filing fee. I did my daughter's first tax return for her with this program and her state refund was less than the filing fee. I ended up filing hers using a free file website to avoid paying the fee. For me, it works fine year after year.

I’ve been using H&R Block Deluxe for about 5 years and I have been so happy with my experience. My taxes can be complicated because of all the forms I need to fill out but with H&R Block software I can do everything by myself and have more privacy with my personal information. As long as the price remains the same as it is now with all the features I will remain a customer. Great software and easy to use!

I have been using H&R Block for a number of years. Used Tax Cut before H&R Block took it over. I use homeowners and investors with state. State version does not always allow me to enter the data the way I like it. It will share the primary and spouse investment income that is not the correct amounts of each individual. It will sometimes share the amount with both tax payers even though it belongs to only one. It will let you adjust the totals for each manually if you choose to do so. In the end it does matter. The total taxable amount may not be correct because each individual pays according to their income. By making its own adjustment it can easily exceed the tax bracket for one of the payers. This always happens. I have contacted the company every year but it stays the same. I hope to use the program again this year. HRBlock has sent me an offer in the past for a reduced price. They have not done that so far this year. I would also like them to add other state’s tax without paying the full price for another one.

I found it a little difficult to switch from TaxAct, which I prefer, to this H&R Block program but TaxAct raised their prices too high for me. However, once I got my info the H&R, it worked fine once I became accustomed to the format. I must say that I filed using the standard deduction and had only a few deductions. I still think that TaxAct is the best on the market, plus it is owned locally.

This program was very easy to use and it actually does come with 5 free 2019 Federal filings, 1 free State filing program that needs to be downloaded as you work through your taxes. Any additional state taxes you do have to pay and download. As a Bonus it let me report my investments such as stocks and dividends 1099-Div / 1099-B Definitely worth the investment

Like this software better than Turbo Tax. Easy to use at a great price.

This is probably the 10th year in a row that I've used H&R Block Homeowners Deluxe edition for my taxes. It covers all areas that pertain to me and my family and our jobs. This year we also had some transactions that we haven't had in past years and the program lead us though all the right avenues to report them correctly. Love this product!

Very easy to use after downloading software to your Mac/Windows computers. This software was used for my mom's taxes & I was able to help her process her taxes with ease. I would highly recommend this software for anyone with a computer to use for their taxes. Just fill in information and answer questions and save your work.
