I prefer it to TurboTax because you have access to H&R Block professionals if needed. I have never had an issue with the IRS or state tax authorities. Additionally, I have discovered tax breaks that I would likely have missed had I not used the software.

But I have problem importing my W2 information and have to enter its data manually. Otherwise very good software.

I really like the way it imports information from the previous year (it really saves time & typing). I've used the regular version and the one that supports rental property--all have been great. Takes hours off the time it would take to do taxes manually.

It is very easy to use and after the first year lot of information is transferred automatically to the next year. It has a lot of help and you can contact a tax professional if needed. Very good program for the money.

However, you can print and mail your state return at no additional charge. We hope this helps to clear up any confusion. HR Block just works

No Activation code, Best Buy is no help

Contacted Best Buy and they said to contact H&R Block for the code. I spent over 1 hour to get through and get the code. Once i received the code it worked. H&R Block customer service rep was great. Best Buy should not sell this product without the proper code.

NO ACTIVATION CODE - 4 HOURS OF MY LIFE WASTED

NO Activation code and then H&R withdrew the state fee ten times from my account. I am very disappointed that Best Buy is selling this digitally without a code. I had to get switched around on the phone with Best Buy and then I had to wait on the phone twice for over an hour with H&R to get a code.

I was on the phone with very nice people at H&R Block was given alternate activation codes and the activation code is still not working. You can do your taxes but the activation code for the free federal filing will not work. Now I see the same thing reported on Amazon, both PC and Mac versions.

Misleading Title

Turns out that all it means is that you get to download the state forms for no charge. You still need to pay $19.95 to efile the state return. Makes me wonder what they charge just to download the state forms? Never again will I buy this product.
