This version works unless you had a spouse die one year then you remarried late the next year. It asks what your "regular tax" was the previous year. No one at H&R could answer what the definition was for a "regular tax". Ended up having to go to a tax person (not H&R) to do my taxes.

I buy the H&R Block digital download from Best Buy each year. The price is good, and the program does what it is supposed to do. Nearly every time I use it though, there are updates that need to download. Nature of the beast.

Like every other year... Easily imports your info from last year. Some minor UI quirks, like most interview data screens are simple, but others are quite long and you need to scroll down to see the remaining questions.

It can be quite taxing hahaha, anyways we use it every year, caught a good sale so figured why not. I don't know if it better than its competitors, but definitely easier to pick a brand and stick with it year after year.

The Deluxe (e-file with Fed) + State (no free e-file) is typically $25+/- $5. e-file for state(s) is about $20 each, and additional state costs about $30. Overall, It costs me around $75. When the filing has multiple states, things get trickier. I had a little bit hunch that I made a few mistakes. After trying the software several different ways, I couldn't resolve it. The instructions from the software weren't too helpful. Typically, if I go to tax preparer, the quote is around $200-$250. I figured I may not save $250 more to go with them to verify what I did.

H&R Block has a great product here. It was very easy to follow for the most part but was more difficult when I did two states. I muddled my way through it and all in all it was a great product

Got my refund on the way in a matter of minutes. Been using H&R Block tax software for a few years without any issues. You do normally need to update the software after you install.

When I bought it from BB website. it showed $10 gift card promotion. However, BB won't honor the promotion after my purchase.

Easy to install and follow. Especially if you used HR Block software the previous year. Unfortunate that you still have to pay more to submit your state taxes after purchasing this software.
