Use of the H&R Block program has been consistent through several years. If extra info is needed to answer some of the questions, it is not always easy to navigate online but is eventually accessible. I have compared it to Turbo Tax in years past and for the price point of what my need is, H&R Block is best for me. Purpose of using the program is to keep the info in my hands. It is easy to navigate prior years if info is needed.

This product works like a charm at a fraction of its competition cost! I started using tax software over 30 years ago. The first one i used was turbo tax (DOS text based) and it was great, but then the cost went up and up until i had to look for an alternative. HRB to the rescue! At first i didn't want to change , but it was short learning curve and have used it for well over 20 years and am very satisfied!

I have used H&R Block Tax Software for a number of years now. I was talked into buying TurboTax a few years back and I regretted it. I like the way the questions are presented, and I like the way the Deduction Pro works for itemization. Great stuff - you should try it.

Great software. I've used HR Block software for years and it is very user friendly. The software guidance is great. I would highly recommend this software.

I like the simplicity of this product. They ask questions, you answer. Deduction Pro is very helpful in giving you the value of items donated to charity.

I’ve been using H&R Block Tax software since 1998 when it was called Kiplinger Tax Cut. It’s easy to use, accurate and thorough.

Oops, I forgot to review this before tax season was over, but I'm sure next year's software is going to be basically identical except for minor details here and there and - well - the calendar year it applies to. I'm not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to deciphering financial jargon, but with H&R Block I was able to successfully file my taxes on my own without calling up my dad every five minutes! Huzzah!

Living in a state without income tax and having relatively straightforward income and expenses, I don't need software with state returns or partnership capabilities. I've used H&R Block Tax Software for years and have found this year's edition as good as previous editions. Plus, it navigates all the arcane changes for me.

While I haven't used the 2018 version of H&R Block yet, I expect it will work as well as the versions I have purchased for the last few years. Prior to that, Turbo Tax Basic had been my go-to software. Then Turbo-Tax decided to increase the price of its basic software significantly. The H&R Block Deluxe software was a pretty seamless transition. I appreciate being able to get the CD version rather than having to download it.

I bought this H& R Bock from Best Buy at a great vale of $24.99. This is very easy to use for do it yourself tax return. The software is very eficient and guides each step and electronically e-files to IRS computer.

This is always a solid tax software choice, imports your data every year, offers you five e-files per license (so you can share the disc), and does a great job walking you through the process.

I've used H&R Block software for about 5 years - after switching from TurboTax..... both are good but have like this one better. Easy to use and able to figure taxes for much of the family.

Compared prices before purchasing. Best Buy price was the cheapest for the same tax program. I can do as make returns and get 3 free electronic submissions.

I used to do my taxes "myself" using my brain, but a few years back I got into some tax related things that were beyond my knowledge, so I bought my first H&R Block tax software. If I had only known, I would have bought it YEARS ago! It is much easier, and finds more deductions, than it was when I was using "my brain". I now use this software every season. I am only giving this 4 stars because it sometimes can be confusing to operate the software program, atleast initially, which can be frustrating until you "get past that" point. I have never used any other tax software for comparison, so I don't know if others would be more friendly that way or not. This software program can be used even if you have used other tax software in the past, as it can import the info from that program, or that is what H&R Block advertises on the box. I would recommend this software program.
