I have been a happy HRB Tax user for many years. I wish that the US income tax system would be much simpler but it only gets more complicated with time. Therefore, why struggle with paper, pencil and calculator and risk errors? Use software instead. There is a chance that the sotfware will make you aware of deductions or tax credits that you did not know about and more than pay for itself. The Deluxe version (purple box) includes Federal, one state and 5 free Federal e-files. Check the back of the box or the H&R Block web site for a complete list of all features of each version.

H&R Block software for my taxes worked great. For years, I have been using Turbo Tax and this time around I would try H&R Block. It was on sale and the other reviews were pretty good. I was happy to see that a major publication ranked this H&R Block software in the top two of best programs to use for those who do not have a lot of taxable issues to deal with. Easy to read and follow and I got a decent refund. I will surely use this next year!

The software leads you through the process with questions and prompts. It will import basic personal information from the prior year if you have your prior year file. I need to file with two states. The software makes entries for income, deductions and taxes to each state form. I still have to verify the entries, but it is a good starting point.

I've been using H&R block for 5+ years now. It makes filing my returns super easy. It can even import you earnings from your employer so you don't need to type in all the numbers from each box on the form. Totally worth the money, watch the sales as it tends to go on and off sale.

This tax software works great without hiccups. I buy the Deluxe version every year because it' accurate, consistent, and always a finished product. It normally goes on sale around the 15th of February and is usually $10 off which is an excellent price. Highly recommended.

This was my first time doing my own taxes, we've used the same H&R block agent for over twenty years but she was semi retiring and wasn't available. So I thought I would give it a try. only had a couple of questions and the free support was knowledgable and helpful.

This is my 8th consecutive year of using H&R Block tax software. I can't think of an easier way to complete my taxes at as good of a value. The only drawback is that there is an electronic filing fee for my state taxes.

Instead, H&R Block Tax Software is the same program the H&R people use, Yet, it is made for a novice homeowner to use. Step by step it guides you to the right direction. Also, if you are not sure what to answer, all the Federal forms are at your finger tips. Most of all, if you still aren't sure what to answer, unlimited expert tax advice is available via online chat. Personally, The Deluxe Homeowners edition helped me itemize to get my maximum refund. I do highly recommend H&R Block Tax Software.

I have used other companies tax software but came back to blocks because it is so easy to use, step by step, in depth, and they guarantee your return and back you up if you are audited. Wonderful product

I have used h&r block software for several years now. I switched from turbo tax. The sw is very easy to use and helpful for normal returns. It would do pretty much everything for you but knowledge of tax rules is needed for more complex situations. Using the guide me feature takes you thru questions/data that helps you with what to enter. The built in help is pretty good. Sometimes you may have to go to state or irs sites for more info on what to enter based on your personnel info. They changed the method for tax question support. I never was able to get thru but I was able to get answers from the local offices which is allowed when you own the sw. I use it to do a projected tax return (guesstimate) for next year so I can make sure I set the right with holdings so I don't owe taxes.

ThoughTurbotax rates the highest I find Taxcut useful, correct and mostly intuitive. I have run both programs in one tax year, found the taxes computed to be essentially identical. Since Taxcut is much cheaper I give it my vote.

I've been using tax prep software for years and I really do prefer H&R Block's to others. I have gotten bigger returns and the process is done in minimal time. For the price it is definitely worth it!

H & R Block tax program allows average person to complete & file income tax reports at a minimal cost. Also provides electronic filing and prints forms for records. Hopefully would provide good support if tax return audited.

I have been using this product past several years. It make it so easy and most of the time I get my refund in a week from the time I submit efile. So accurate, have not been audited so far.
