Just started it, but it seems ok. Some of the terminology was a little hard to understand.

I used this the last two years and have been satisfied that it is easy to enter the tax data and submit the returns.

Got my maximum refund for sure. Was able to use the self employed option to upload my schedule c

If you installed an EV charger at your home and are looking to claim the tax credit for it, you need form 8911. This software does not have the form and after contacting H&R Block, they tell me that won’t be adding it. This was my first year trying their software; I usually use TurboTax. It seemed like a bargain, but I guess the old adage is true: You get what you pay for. When I asked for a refund for the product, H&R Block wants your SSN & DOB to cut you a check. Not really comfortable doing that. So this purchase was a waste of money and time.

I’ve used H&R Block software for decades without a hitch. It’s usually an easy, reliable method of doing my taxes. Unfortunately, this year, the software has a fatal flaw with at least one grayed out (unfillable) area where tax info must be entered in order to finish and submit the tax forms to the gov’t. The H&R support staff say it will be fixed in an upcoming software update but could not give a date for the fix. Honestly, the support staff was great but without a fix, the software is useless to me. I’m going to have to do it in person with a professional instead of using the software. A solid fail this year.

The End User License Agreement says "Your use of the Products and Services is subject to our Privacy Notice, available at: http://www.hrblock.com/universal/ software_privacy_policy.html." That URL gets a 404 error (not found). It seems my use of the product is subject to requirements that are not available to read. This doesn't give me confidence about the competence of the software vendor, and leaves me in the dark about privacy.

Bought this since it was on sale. I have used "Turbo Tax" for the past 8 years and found that the H&R block is not as easy and straight forward to use compared to Turbo Tax. I will stay with Turbo tax from now on.

The problem with this product and buying it on line is that I have no code number to access and download the program. I hope this can be resolved before tax season.

I called and spoke to representative and was told you had this item in stock in the store. When I got to the store I was told BB didn’t carry this in store this year.

I have been using Taxcut/ HR Block since 1997 to do my taxes. It is easy to use and quite reliable. Premium version has everything I need.

I have used H&R Block for years. Very accurate and convenient. Bought it on sale at Best Buy. Win win situation.

I purchased a digital download of the H & R Block tax software. I didn't have any problems downloading it. I've used H & R Block software for over 20 years. I am biased because I used to work for Block.

So disappointed with H&R Block. I mistakenly assumed the software would be good because of their well known name. Some basic features (like uploading 1099-INT and -DIV forms) don't work. There are steps in their knowledge base how to do it -- but the buttons they say to click some even exist. Support was clueless (and didn't know what a 1099 was, a huge surprise since they are representing a tax filing company). Also, they have a restriction of beyond unable to e-file if you have more than 3 copies of form 8938. This isn't mentioned anywhere until you wrap everything up, choose to e-file, and get thrown an error. Lots of upset people about this in online forums, but H&R Block doesn't seem to care. Support agents mentioned to several people it would be fixed "in the next update," but if never was. Will be going back to TaxAct or TurboTax next year -- this was such a bad experience. I use this software every year and it is so easy to buy and install.
