Works fantastic with locked iPhone 4!

I've been totally impressed with the wireless coverage with this service. I've traveled all around the Lansing area, over to Grand Ledge, south into Holt and Mason, even down into Charlotte (you'll lose it west of Ainger Rd though) and Eaton Rapids and have had great coverage with the service! I've had to talk to customer service a few times, and the wait times were pretty long, but they were able to assist me both times. I haven't gotten the wireless data to work with the iPhone 4 yet, although I've read that others have. I'm using iOS 4.2.1, again on a LOCKED device, and I couldn't be happer with this service, especially for $40/month for unlimited calling and texting! I purchased a locked iPhone 4 from a guy off Craigslist. I then purchased this wireless service, trimmed the included SIM to a Micro-SIM form factor, and inserted it into the iPhone 4. I connected the iPhone 4 to iTunes and it activated instantly, no problems!

    Fantastic Value

Amazing value!!!! I needed an MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) that runs on AT&T's network, as AT&T is the only network that has coverage at my work place. It took me hours over a few days to get my service started. At first, I did not want to port in my numbers so I got brand new phone numbers with their SIM cards, but I came to find out that once I get new phone numbers I cannot port in my old phone numbers. So I had to get new SIM cards and get the numbers ported as I was setting up my new service. I came to find out that the internet was not working. I called again (another hour on hold) and the internet started working, but the SMS and the MMS stopped working. Another two days, two more hours on hold, but in the end everything was working flawlessly. H2O is a service of Locus Telecommunications an affiliate of KDDI, the second largest cell carrier in Japan. They will give you unbelievable value, especially if you need to call internationally. With their $50/month plan, you get unlimited calls to US, unlimited SMS/MMS, 2 gigs of data, and unlimited calls to landlines in about 60 countries. Unbelievably, included in the plan is also a $40 credit for the countries where they don't have free calls, or for calls to cell phones in the above 60 countries. There is no way another company could offer a better deal. Once your service is up and running you are on AT&T's network and everything works flawlessly. If you don't care about international calls, just get the $60/month plan and get unlimited everything. Wow!

Very happy with the service that H2O Wireless provides. They're an MVNO for AT&T, which basically means they're a sub-contractor that buys millions of minutes in bulk, and sells them to us, the consumer, at a discount. They use AT&T towers, so wherever AT&T works, H2O works as well. Your phone doesn't need to be jailbroken or unlocked, or anything like that. I just popped in the sim and my standard AT&T iPhone worked just fine. So, you might ask why wouldn't you just use AT&T? Because H2O is AT LEAST half price compared with AT&T! In some cases, AT&T is 3 times as much! I get the same quality of AT&T's service, without paying for the big name of the company! I recommend H2O to all of my friends!

It does what a prepaid sim card is suppose to do. I bought it for my mother-in-law who was visting from a foreign country. The setup was very easy, took less than a minute, and the card activated and worked right away. Albeit she only used it less than 5 times during the month she had it, but there were no drop calls, and all the incoming and outgoing calls were clear and went through without any problems. Can't beat the price you pay for 1 month of service. I will buy again next time.

I bought this just to have an extra phone to be used in a small business. This is good because I can just load a minimum of $10 which will last for 90 days. Better than getting another post paid line or a home phone. Downside, customer service sucks.

Both my wife and I recently switched to H2O from At&t and Sprint primarily to have a known monthly cost for our cell service but also because the H2O plans are such good value for money. We both had smartphones then, and stilll do now, but with At&t and Sprint we really just felt like we were being fleeced at every oportunity. A smartphone charge here, an unlimited txt fee there and before you know it your bill is a monster. Also if you should EVER do something that's not in the fine print of your contract, well lets not go there! So we got a $40 & $50 plan and so far we love the service. H2O uses the At&t network, so excellent coverage, we get $20 worth of international minutes and unlimited voice, txt and international txt. If you do the math 'unlimited' is essentially 1000minutes.I have 100Mb data and my wife has 500mb and so far with smart useage of WIFI we haven't gotten close to the limits. If you do burn up all your time or data then you can add time or just wait until the end of the month either way you control the bill. all taxes are included and so far their customer service has been responsive and knowledgable. Phones need to be GSM and unlocked (or ex-At&t). The only downside is the 3g limitation so a Samsung G4 or iPhone 5 wouldn't make any sense on this network.

Overall I can't complain ! I mean the service is good and I'm satisfied. My husband, myself , and our kid uses the service. Compared to AT & T and Verizon (The best service ever/ I can't afford there price for phones and service) I certainly will choose H2O Wireless because it's affordable and there's the added ease of being able to add minutes monthly without dealing with all the extra fees as I would should I have chosen to stay with Verizon or go with AT & T.

It's the cheapest minute plan I can find on the market. However the customer service isn't that great. CSR is directed to India and most of time you will need to spend twice time to solve one issue comparing AT&T.

I wanted to ditch my land line, so I grabbed one of these and ported my home phone number to an old iPhone. Great way to trim the $$$ fat. Now my home phone is still active for $10 bucks for every 90 days, instead of $40 per month. Plus H20 has excellent service and great coverage.

These are great SIM cards for people that want to use an AT&T smartphone and don't need much data, as you can set up a plan for just $9 a month. I use these in AT&T locked Lumia Windows phones also purchased at Best Buy for family members just getting started with smartphones. They have been easy to set up and activate, even bringing a number over from T-Mobile in one case. Just be sure to look up the lasted APN settings, as the ones in the H2O instructions were no longer accurate when we went to set ours up.

I bought this SIM for my son so that I could re-use one of my old phones and am completely happy. Was able to get him unlimited talk and text + 500GB data for $27/month ($3 discount for using auto-recharge).

Love h2o, I'm using mine as a GPRS solution for GPS tracking devices. Can't beat the price, AT&T network service. Wish I would have known this when I got my AT&T phone and signed up for a 2 year contract!

    Stay away!!!

Guys- Stay away from H2O wireless. moving to H2O is one of the worst decision I made in terms of my wireless plan, Their 2GB data plan is really useless, it will only give you EDGE speed and lags all the time. I tried the plan with 500 MB on it and pretty much satisfied with the speed and gives me at least 6Mbps but when I moved to 2GB plan I notice my data speed got slow now I am only getting 0.09 Mbps which is useless, there is no way I can use the 2GB caps on that speed. Save yourself some trouble and stay away, there are more MVNO's and prepaid plans out there that will not rip you off. I would give 0 star if possible. Nuff said just very disappointed. I'm moving to a different carrier soon.

I am impressed with this product and this company in general being able to have great service wherever I go even internationally I have great signal. Also for $30 a month to get unlimited talk and text and 500 MB of data with no two year stuck in contract its perfect.

H2O uses ATT/Cingular towers and so far the reception is very good. I've traveled from New Jersey to Florida and had service. I don't know if another service has both good reception and very competitive pricing. The sim card will fit both 'normal' size and micro.
