The Zoom H6 is easy to use and produces high-quality audio. I love having all the inputs because it allows me to use a lapel mic and boom mic for two people without needing an extra recorder.

Replaced a seven-year old H4N that I got great use out of. Unfortunately my H4N suffered the sticky surface syndrome and became unusable (a known problem on that model). Zoom has improved much on the H6 including a nice color display, much better than the clunky graphics of the H4N. It is also solid and built well. I like the dedicated mic capsule, and a line out jack in addition to a headphone jack. I use it in conjunction with a Sony AX53 4K camcorder and Sennheiser ME66 mic using a XLR input. Very pleased I just hope the H6 does not have the sticky surface syndrome.

Works well for price range. Small and easy to transport, especially when out on the trail hiking. Used mostly for field recording then I process the sound in a DAW.

This professional piece of hardware has already proved irreplaceable in my filmmaking/podcasting efforts. Love this thing, incredibly useful tool.

The Zoom H6 is the workhouse for all of my audio needs. I work in production, so it has been an MVP in my gear bag. It works wonders for my podcast (up to 4 XLR mics on a show) and when I need to jump on an online call, this has worked wonderfully as an audio interface to connect any of my XLR mics to the computer.

After doing hours of research, I decided to go with the H6 for my recording needs and so far, I have not been disappointed. The on-board capsule mics are clean and clear, and it's super easy to use. If you are looking for a mobile recording solution, I highly recommend the H6. Definitely pick up a windscreen!

I got this off the recommendation of a fellow podcaster and have been in love with it ever since. We primarily use it for our podcast to be able to record outside of our studio and the 4 combo/XLR inputs are perfect for all of our mics, sample board and such. The XY mics on the end can detach for another attachment adding on two more combo/XLR inputs if needed.

Clean sound using Rode Go 2 mics and a boom mic. Easy to use for doc film recording.

This an interesting experience. I put order on line on 5/31 and tried to use my 10% off coupon but the code failed. I decided still put the order and called Best Buy next day. It took me 2 hours and different departments kicked me back and forth but the only answer is “there is nothing I can do “. I was so mad but still decided to go to local store (Mountain View on E Charleston) for last try. Amazingly Manager Erica Corte fixed it in 1min. It turns to a very nice experience and the product is great.

This recorder is great. It gives you alot of control for an audio recorder and the audio coming out of this is amazing. I definitely recommend this along with a Rode headset and youll be golden for audio producing and listening.

Started doing videos and a podcast and my audio have changed dramatically on quality! Huge difference! I’m using a boom mic as well as a the Rode Wireless Go Lav mic when on the go. Perfect for a starting podcaster and videographer.

This thing is amazing. Not only can you plug in microphones to it, but you can take it on the go and record in your car. 5/5 stars for sure.
