We requested Hacksaw Ridge (Blu-ray DVD) from Netflix but it came damaged and unplayable. So, purchased this movie from Best Buy and it came in new and in perfect condition. We watched this film without Glitch! Thanks Best Buy for your speedy delivery and great product!

Gripping film. Did not expect to love it as much as I did. The ending tore me up.

Excellent movie reflecting valor and courage while continuously overcoming obstacles. An inspiring example for our young men today to follow and inspire them not to give up on their beliefs or give up on helping others .

Andrew Garfield is an amazing actor. To do what he did in this film was just unbelievable. My grandfather was in the wild war 2 . He used to tell me story when I was a kid. But it was written and directed with precision. Excellent action. I felt I was there.

Incredible story hard to believe it was actually a true story you feel bad for the main character and the hardships that they went through the last 30 minutes of the movies incredible my hats off to all them all the men and women that served in world war II and fought in Okinawa

Love this movie, all the actors, are great, the action and reality of what a war is all about. It awes me how the main character carries out his Christian beliefs, even in war! Mel Gibson hit five stars again! I wanted to see this movie in theaters, ever since I heard about it but was very busy with life and working, but now I can watch it anytime I want. Andrew Garfield is an impressive actor and I will be looking for him in movies in the future . Great job Mel, keep bringing em!

A true story . This movie will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Andrew Garfield did such a great job that I was actually in tears throughout much of the film. I would suggest this movie to anyone who is a World War Two film buff.

If you love war films, and havent seen this, what are you doing? A great, violent, war movie based in the pacific theater of WW2. Desmond refuses to use weapons or take lives on the front lines of WW2. Instead, he saves lives.

Love me a War Movie, especially when they are true stories. My grandpa served in WWII and was there on the beach and many important battles. Reminds me of him.

I'm one who loves a story that is not too complicated but also not too simple either. This movie makes it into that nice happy medium that is delightfully entertaining. There is also plenty of action to go around too, I remember half the entire second half of the movie was just non stop battling at hacksaw ridge. Great movie, definitely made me think of saving private Ryan a little bit.

When watching the movie you tend to lose sight of the story line. The story of a hero and all that he endured pre and post enlistment is quite a story. His faith helped him to overcome all obstacles during his WWII experience. The interview of the hero at the end of the movie made you realize that he was "just a man", a common man. His faith, however, was extraordinary.

Fantastic movie that's sometimes hard to watch if you know anything about Private Dawson. Just an amazing young man.

Doss rescues 75 soldiers under fire, singlehandedly, mostly at night, getting them down a 75 foot cliff using ropes. NO WEAPON — he was a PACIFIST. This is a TRUE STORY and he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, our nation’s highest military award for bravery by President Truman. Very humble guy. Well worth watching !

One of the more underrated military films and an amazing performance from the former Spidey, Andrew Garfield!

Cant believe I have never seen it this amazing movie, but loved it and what a perfect story that matches the true life story brought right before our eyes. I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it given I am a military member and feel proud of what they did with this film and to know men like this existed.

Andrew Garfield is Desmond Doss! An amazing role for a actor that has a lot more left in him, absolutely a touching and moving movie, Mel Gibson was perfect for the Directors position. Teaches the amazing of no matter what you’re going through the number 1 rule, never leave your brothers in arms behind!

I truly love this movie. Even if you set aside the Christian theme of the story line (I don't btw), it can still be taken as such an encouraging story. It is heart warming, tear jerking, edge of your seat excitement. And as usual Best Buy got it to me quick and as promised. Yes, I bought the movie.

Out of the 4 movies I bought with Best Buy ‘ s rewards program. Out of the 4 movies this one is my favorite by far. Love war movies especially based on a true story. Great effects on my new home theatre bought at Best Buy!!! All I can say is if you like war movies, get this one and free is for me!!!!!!!!!
