I love this toaster, the turquoise color is beautiful and so retro and the dual control keeps the retro look and feel also. Reminds me of the 1960's-70s toaster. It toasts bread and bagels perfect! Oh and the brand doesn't skimp in making this look so expensive either. Did I tell ya that I ❤️ love❤️ this toaster 100%? Well I really do.

This toaster is sooo cool looking. It's kinda retro with a modern look. The blue lit "cancel button" is an added touch to its styling. Toasts perfect and the lift-up lever is so helpful. I would definitely recommend this toaster and think it would be a great gift.

This toaster works well. It toast's evenly and easy to clean out the crumbs. Other toasters we had did not have a wide enough opening in the bottom for all the crumbs to drop down to the tray. This one does a good job and brown's the toast well.

This toaster does an excellent job of making toast and I love the retro look, although it's spoiled by being of cheaper materials than a real retro one. Color perfectly matches a KitchenAid I own. The functionality is excellent, and springs hold the bread or bagels centered when lever is depressed. There is a setting for bagels, which toasts the outside but leaves the inner surface soft. The base is plastic, and there is a tray which can be removed to make cleaning it and removing burnt crumbs easy. I've rinsed it out thoroughly this way - with it unplugged of course - and after allowing to dry all day it worked just fine after plugging it back in. The only real gripe I have with it is that the controls feel really cheap - shiny plastic chrome over plastic, and the lever for the toast feels very flimsy. Granted, it wasn't terribly expensive, but I would be willing to pay an extra $20 or so for real metal controls with real chrome, as it is a very beautiful retro toaster and is only spoiled by those obvious touches of modern cheapness.

Yeah, I was sucked into buying this toaster because the black and copper would look so nice in my kitchen. Yup, it does look nice. However, functionally it is of poor design and cheap quality inside. First off, there are like 9 clicks of the doneness dial between each "tiny" printed number. The clicks are way too sensitive so it's difficult to get 2 clicks passed the "4" in one attempt each time you need to change the setting. The finicky doneness dial with tiny numbers is not the biggest problem with this toaster. I can't recall ever owning a toaster that got the toast suck so often as this one. There are two reasons for the toast getting stuck a lot. One is the amount of space between either side of finger like metallic strip the toast rests on and how flimsy the metal is. There is enough play, so it can easily get moved to one side and the toast can wedge itself between it and the wire side guards that keep the bread from contacting the heating filaments. The spacing on the wire guards is wider than other toasters, so bread can easily get wedged in between their as well. No doubt this allowed them to have one less wire on each side to save on manufacturing costs. It is a total pain to get a piece of toast back out. Removing the crumb catcher shelf does not give you access to the sides. I would avoid any of the "skinny" slices of bread in this toaster. This toaster does not have a lift feature to aid in raising the toast up higher for easy grabbing after the toast pops up. This would be helpful for those regular sized artisanal slices of bread. I also found that slightly larger store-bought bread slices don't quite fit, as far as the length goes. My cheap $20 toaster didn't have all these problems, so I feel really ripped off by this brand. If you really love the look of this toaster and all you ever put in it are bagels or English muffins, you might be happy with this toaster. For someone who uses their toaster for many kinds of breads, this thing is really challenging to use. I would not buy this toaster again even for $20.
