    Received it today shipping was fine opened it up and followed instructions and it NEVER blew cold air It has controls for fan speed but according to a AC repairman I had look at it said there was no fan in it. and never had one that he could tell. The cover was cracked and broken and appears cheaply made. I will not shop Best Buy ever again.

    when i got this ac unit i knew it was a risk 3 review of 4 about this unit had said the fan will not work. i figured bc it was refurb it would be fixed. but when i got it installed it and turned it on guess what? no fan the housing in the unit is to small and they just dont fix it. i do not suggest buying this one i suggest paying the extra 20-40 for a different unit that will not have to be sent back. good look shopping.

    I've purchase refurbished appliances and electronics before and they have all been fine. But this was not the same story. As soon as we turned it on the fan started making a horrible, loud sound like it was working too hard. We let it run, hoping it get warmed up and get better. Instead, it stopped working entirely and shut off. We tried turning it on again, changing fan speed, etc. but it always sounded horrible and the fan would shut off on its own. I definitely would not waste your time on this. We returned it the same day we received it and bought a better one.
