I figured I would try the refurbished model because you really couldn't beat the price. The product arrived and seemed to be working fine, until I came home and found a giant puddle of water in the basement. That was when I discovered that the full bucket auto shut off sensor was not working. Returning to the store today, won't buy refurbished again.

The product arrived broken. The plastic hood was broken in 3 spots- no big deal. The humidity sensor is not working. It appears as the manufacturer did not attempt to fix the unit before sending it to the refurbished sales pile. Let me remind the company that a product is suppose to be brought back to like-new conditions before selling it to another consumer. The is the first company where I have found this to be a critical problem. I called the manufacturer because this would be an easy fix, send a new front molding and a new sensor as it just plugs in and 5 minutes later a working product. The company Haier does not support refurbished products at all. They wouldn't even take a complaint that whoever refurbished the unit did not do their job. The only recourse is to return the unit. Considering it took a week for the unit to get here with zero support I would not recommend buying this unit. I am returning the unit.

Mine was the same model new. Worked fine for about 1 1/2 years. now it runs for about 1 minute and shuts off.

Front cover is broken and seems that never has been refurbished and just repackaged and sent to the store for pickup. Returned it after carrying to and from my basement. Don't know if it is in working condition.

You would be crazy to not buy one of these, works great and was in perfect shape and saved allot of money
