Great cast and pitch perfect direction from the Cohen Brothers add up to an entertaining satire behind the scenes look at the studio system. Really fun set pieces as well.

Didn't get big raves in its theater release, but it's one of those movies that sucks you in. Good acting, cloony is always good and brolin is excellent in the producer role.

I collect all their movies. If I want to complete the collection, I have to own this. It's not very funny, (the entire communist subplot was a waste of time) but the nostalgia for old Hollywood is nice. The dance number with Channing Tatum was the best part of the movie. (And I'm not a fan of him). Only buy this if you like the Coen Brothers.

A star studded cast in a comedy about old Hollywood. I really enjoyed it. Ignore the critics who worry about accuracy...it's a fictional comedy and a good one at that.

This film takes the Coen Brothers back to their roots. If you enjoyed their early films you will enjoy this one. No one can send up Hollywood like the Coen Brothers.

Great dry wit exemplified in this movie amuses me to no end....but.....bear in mind.....I liked Men Who Stare At Goats....so.......my opinion may not help you.

I typically like the Cohen Brothers stuff, but you really have to be a movie buff to appreciate this film. George Clooney is a lark and Josh Brolin does well. I liked the surprise ending and the special features were as interesting as the movie was. I would recommend it to serious movie buffs, but not to casual watchers.

I wasn't really sure about what to expect with Hail, Caesar!, but I enjoyed the movie. It provided a lot of insight into how the old Hollywood worked.

I had so looked forward to this new Coen Brothers film, but it disappointed me in that it's not up there with the best. It's funny, but lacks the bite that is the Coen Bros brand. It doesn;t live up to the real Coen Bros. ideal touch. It may appeal to many, but this isn't one of my favorite Coen Bros film.

In the same vein as Oh Brother Where Art Thou, comes a funny, well directed and written movie. The cast is tremendous and the bluray extras are good.

If you are looking for intellectual stimulation you have come to the wrong place. If you want to laugh like there's no tomorrow, look no further!!

Cohen brothers have truly mastered their craft and this movie is no exclusion. Well written and delivering entertaining scenes with good laughs.

Everyone in this movie fits their role perfectly...If only the writing (and pacing) were better...Still good if you're a fan of the directors!

This film had me rolling in my seat. It's comedy and political satire kept me entertained throughout the whole film. Definitely worth a watch.

Great cast of stars who played off each other well. Good balance of roles. Liked the ensemble approach. Silly story that kept me in stitches.
