We wanted to watch this movie and have a movie night. We popped some popcorn and had a great time.

The movie held up to its potential. It was funny and entertaining from the beginning till the end.

Not everybody's cup of tea but a treat to film buffs that see all the old Hollywood references.

Good old fashion movie themes...Enjoyed watching the old sets and storytelling. Worth watching...

Sure if has a great cast that is clearly have fun with the source material and the classic Cohen brothers quirkiness, but this is not part of their portfolio that really stands on its on as film. More for Cohen fan club members

This movie was an impulse buy with Best Buy. I saw it in the cinemas and thought it was great!

It may not be as good as Fargo or True Grit, but it is definitely one of their better outings.

Even though this wasn't my cup of tea; it does give you a look behind movie making. Lots of cameos with good actors/actresses. I'm sure they did go behind stars to make sure their reputation wasn't harmed by their actions.

Set in they older age of cinema, naïveté of ignorant innocence. Good humor and entertaining.

The Brilliant Michael Gambon narrates a propulsive story of 'McCarthy' era Hollywood studio politics...but the real driver of this very funny and thoughtful film is Josh Brolin, playing a man who loves/hates his job as studio production manager. This is surely one of the Coen Brothers best films; totally worth your time and repeated viewing.

Top notch cast lends its hands at making the star be the heal that he is.

Plot was simple. Actors well known. Setting as you would expect. Story just didnt hit the high point on the humor scale. It really felt like Clooney could have done more to sell the humor, but it never really happened.

I love the way is filmed and the writing from Coen is always very interesting!

A little uneven story...but interesting enough with great sets and costumes. Worth a look!

What a great team! The Coen brothers! George Clooney! Plus, Tilda Swinton x 2, plus Channing Tatum, James Brolin, Ralp Fiennes, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill, Alden Ehrenreich and Frances McDormand. Can you imagine the bond and creativity these wonderful performers brought to the set to make this engaging film. Get it today!

Good stuff- great cast, funny show- one to pickup for a laugh... funny, funny, funny!!

This another underappreciated Cohen Bros movie. The star power alone is worth a watch.

The marketing for this movie was misleading. Like all other Coen Brothers films, this movie spends much more time focusing on awesome characters than a cohesive plot or narrative. Fans of old Hollywood will find a lot to love in the set pieces. Fans of the Coen brothers will find a lot to love in the characters and script.

Great movie. Entertaining look at old Hollywood and some neat musical numbers also
