This Wahl trimmer is all you would ever need for a very simple haircut. I am balding and simply buzz what's left down to little more than stubble, slightly longer on top. This device and its abundance of attachments (most of which are unnecessary) is all you'll need. If you have longer hair and like to style it you might have a hard time unless you're quite proficient. It's really quite sturdy and powerful, surprisingly so for its cost. I imagine this would be super easy if you're cutting someone else's hair. If you're cutting your own, the cord kind of gets in your way as you twist and turn in front of a mirror. But the cordless models are about three times as expensive, and I can accept the bother instead. Try to keep as much of the cord coiled up in the twisty tie, because it drops into the sink and gets hair all over it. There are only a couple of minor drawbacks: Without an attachment the head can become hot enough to become uncomfortable, and it left a permanent mark on the plastic toilet lid. So don't put it down on anything plastic, or just finish quickly. I do wonder if this heating might cause some damage after a few cuts. Another drawback is the ridiculously thin plastic hinges on the already flimsy plastic case. It almost comes apart under its own weight when empty. This is not a big deal, if it does come apart just get any small container from a dollar store. I didn't know anything about cutting what's left of my hair, and found this a quick and easy alternative to a barber. Be prepared for the inevitable cleanup afterwards. I do wish it was waterproof, but again this is an inexpensive model. It does what it is meant to, which is cut hair well.

Bought these to start cutting my own hair as I got tired of paying the barber to do it. The clippers cut great and are pretty quiet as well. The numerous attachments and accessories make it a great starter kit.

Heavy,not light and flimzy like other clippers which I used because they were cheap. The scissor is not comfortable. The blade could be a little sharper. Has an added half size attachment which serves me well. Good Product.

These clippers work great! They're quiet and smooth. I traded in our old cordless as the battery went dead and it wouldn't run on just the cord. These work every time perfectly!

A little heavier than most other clippers, but that's because these are made to last. I wish I would have bought these a longtime ago.

This trimmer has many configurations and cuts very well. It was a huge improvement over my older trimmer. Only problem I have with it is the interior of the storage case. It's just an empty shell, with all the parts floating loose inside of it. Once you open the bags all the accessories are in to use them, there's nothing keeping all the parts, including the trimmer, in place. So you're left shifting a pile of parts around to make them fit inside when you close the case. Otherwise very good machine

This is a nice clipper for the price. I have a Wahl Senor that I've been using for 15 years or so and I thought it was time to get a new trimmer. This one feels a lot lighter than my Senor but it's also a lot cheaper so it's to be expected. Cuts just as well as my Senor and does the job. Love the extra attachments that comes with it and the blade oil. With proper maintenance, these clippers should last a while.

This was a great purchase at a great price. Lots of different attachments for different uses. Easy handling and comfortable feel allows for straight line cut and more. Very happy with the product.

I looked at the reviews for several brands and models and decided this would be good for my needs, purchased it at the Bestbuy store and finally got to use it. It did a great job. I don't have use for all the multiple accessories that come with it but i do like the cape and combs. I have a better pair of scissors so i don't use the one that came in the set. The set i bought didnt come with the mini trimmer though. The clippers itself comes with a long enough cord, it isn't too loud and it doesn't get too hot in my hands while using it, unlike a previous set i used. Good value for money. Everything stores neatly in its own carry case.
