The greatest horror movie on 4K... picture quality is superb and sound is clear. Such a great transfer

Hard to believe but I only first saw this classic very recently. Alas, this Ultra HD version is probably the best way to view it at home today. Transfer keeps a nice film grain with rich color tones. Great addition to my library.

One of the classics and had to rewatch it before the new Halloween movie comes out in theaters.

Following an iffy debut a few years back on the UHD format, John Carpenter's 1978 horror classic has been given a great special edition release from Scream Factory. The new transfer is quite nice, but the real score here is that Scream Factory has rounded up the bonus material from multiple previous editions and included them here. The great thing about the original "Halloween," outside of being a masterclass on how to properly make a suspense thriller, is that you can watch/buy it and not have to bother with any of the endless, lame sequels (and yes, that includes the 2018 rehash). It stands on its own, and will continue to do so long after the others have faded from memory (if they haven't done so already).

Classic movie, nothing flashy or heavy plot-wise but it's got suspense and horror covered!
