For once, we get an individual Deluxe release of this other Halloween story that has nothing to do with Michael Myers, the insane psychopath out to kill his sister and any living relatives that he may know of. The overall packaging and features on it make it THE BEST version of this movie that has ever been released. I say that genuinely as I have owned several versions prior to this one. There is an overall improvement in the 2021 4K disc and audio Dolby Atmos 7.1. It is outstanding. I personally thought it could not get better as far as picture quality since the Universal Blu-ray release as I still have that. I was pleasantly surprised to see it so beautiful and sounding so good now. I play all of these back on the Sony 4K player and 55" 4K TV with HDR. That in conjunction with a Vizio sound bar for audio makes it fantastic! All features for this movie have been brought over from other prior releases. We DO get the reverse artwork for the original poster art on the insert for the movie. You can flip it over to have the outer box artwork if you choose. Thank you Scream Factory!! Get this now!

This is a very fun, and very original sequel in the Halloween series. Although I like Michael Myers, I feel after the way 2 ended that this was a great way to take the spookiest time of the year into a new territory. Would have made a cool turn for the series to go in a sort of anthology route but of course the fans demanded Michael so they brought him back. He survived a mass explosion and having his eyes shot out. Beats me lol but I really enjoyed this installment! Recommended!

A nice change from the michael meyers films the music throughout the film is eerie the location of the movie is creepy the story is original and a Halloween must

It is a good, silly horror film to enjoy without Michael Myers but be prepared to suspend logic. Happy Halloween!

Underrated cult classic! Beautiful transfer and amazing sound!

I kept renting this dvd on netflit and decided to buy it. Its in widescreen and it looks so much better . great halloween movie.

We are big Halloween fans. This movie does not disappoint They kept it true to the genre.

Shout Factory's release of Halloween III on 4k disc, from a fresh restoration, was a big surprise, and a welcome one. I honestly never thought this film would receive that kind of treatment. The end result is a beautiful image that really allows the film to shine. Halloween III has never looked this good before, and with the new Dolby Atmos mix, has never sounded better either. Although it has been widely panned for being called Halloween without Michael Myers being in it, it still has the look and feel of those first two films. The story has some plot holes in it, but overall I would say it's a fun little horror film that, in my opinion, makes a great book end companion piece to the first two films.

This is another of the "Halloween" series movies released by the 'Scream Factory' division of the Shout Factory distributors. The story in the movie itself is a pretty "love it or hate it" situation; they tried to turn the "Halloween" title into an anthology type series with an unrelated plot but at the time it failed, pushing them to go back to the original Michael Myers ideas. The presentation on this BluRay is excellent. Great sound and picture quality, the best I've ever come across. Loaded with documentaries and special features, another one where I'm still trying to watch them all. If you were a fan of this film, get this set.

This is the best Halloween movie in the series! A real head exploder

Originally, people were upset that this movie didn't have any connection with John Carpenter's original "Michael Myers" movies. The intention was to have a new original horror movie released every Halloween and have it titled "Halloween" but with a different sub-title for each film. The idea didn't catch on unfortunately but at least we still have this fun stand alone film that we can enjoy each Halloween season!

Went in a different direction than the first two movies, but still enjoyed it and John Carpenters music is still influential in this. When i was a kid I only saw bits and pieces of this movie, now that I purchased it I was able to enjoy it fully. The 4K remaster is great

Not my favorite of the Halloween films, but it IS my favorite of the recent Shout Halloween UHDs. A really great transfer all-around; particularly noticeable are the colors of the famous masks. If you don't already own Shout's steelbook and are a fan of the movie, it's definitely worth the price of admission.

If you are buying this chances are you are already a fan of this entry in the Halloween franchise. The 4k upgrade is excellent and certainly the best this film has ever looked and sounded. Love what Scream Factory has done with the packaging and reversable cover art.

With Halloween Ressurection and Zombie flix this is the one i dont care for much since Michael isnt in it but still in order to comlete the collection its a must have..they did a great job with transfer too so its a deff a nice upgrade to previous version..long live 4k

New 4k and Dolby Atmos track. This film is very underrated. It's a very good stand alone Halloween film. It was fun, the music was great and catchy. Scream Factory did an amazing job with the thick and sturdy cardboard slipcover. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

A cult classic gets a great UHD upgrade. Colors pop and black levels are great. Make sure you have a Dolby vision capable UHD player to truly enjoy the visuals on this unfairly maligned movie!
