What can I say? I love this movie. The opening sequence and the flashback scenes make it a worth while movie

I really enjoyed this movie when I saw it in the theaters. And the disc looks and sounds fantastic.

A review of the film obviously, not any item as this came out last night. A fun, albeit gruesome film with a couple of nasty deaths in particular. Per usual, critics are lost and simply don’t understand this was made for the fans. It truly was. I throughly enjoyed myself as many of the situations while not just being led by the angry mob of Haddonfield citizens, it shows a glimpse into Michael’s viewpoint when doing his bad deeds. Just a little. This gives nothing away as it’s common knowledge. I honestly think despite the horrible miscasting of Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle, that this is the best Halloween offering since the masterpiece original. Many will likely disagree, but I could careless. It’s merely an opinion. Parts of this film make you think about society as a whole, let alone the absolute carnage true evil achieves. Some good performances too by Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam and the kid (forgot his name) that plays his son Cameron. Clearly, not for the faint of heart, but if you like or love Halloween I doubt you’ll be disappointed. I honestly as a realist am surprised just how good it is and I’m an at times a snobby film buff. A fun, gruesome and amazingly at times thought provoking film that true is relentless, but extremely interesting at the same time.

One of the most violent of the entire franchise. If you love good horros slash fun. This is it.
