Boy this movie was the last Jedi of Halloween movies.

Like many here I preordered way back in October, and waited for the release. I got mine late, and the tracking had stopped updating so I had no clue when it would arrive. The package was late, but surprisingly it was delivered in a securely packed box and the steelbook was in perfect condition. Maybe Bestbuy is slowly listening to customer complaints, and is starting to learn to use better packaging. Hoping all those who want, will be able to get this release. The red+black scheme really works & the steelbook just looks amazing.

The movie looks great and the digital download was nice. I Personally thought this movie was a bit average but the franchise is great!

This was a decent sequel that works as a third installment to the 1978 Halloween movie and then the 2018 sequel. It does well in continuing the story, but goes a bit overboard with the gore of the deaths and also boarders on being comedic with the town reaction to Michael Meyers. There are points with the town mob scenes that I questioned if this was written by the writers of South Park. If you’re a fan of the series, it’s a good movie to add to your collection. Also worth getting for the extended ending to the film which was a bit polarizing for fans.

I know the professional movie critics or whatever did not like this movie. I absolutely love this franchise even though there is about 4-6 movies i am not of. What David Gordon Green has done with Halloween (2018) and now Halloween Kills has been great to me. Does that mean it is better than the original film? No it is not but these two films so far are one of the better ones in the franchise. Halloween Kills is a fun time of michael doing what he does best! So glad to have added it to my collection! Cannot wait for Halloween Ends this year!

Not a movie review but a product review - The steelbook is gorgeous and will go nicely alongside the 2018 version Steelbook. The best news and why I feel compelled to do a review… THEY shipped the steelbook in a box! It arrived pristine. Such a rare thing. I hope this continues. Thank you for finally listening.

I personally thought this was a really good Halloween movie. A little overwritten at moments, but all in all a great entry. The picture and audio quality of the discs are fantastic. The Steelbook looks cool, but mine was scratched on the front and back during shipping. Like the Steelbooks but unless I can get them in the store, I won’t buy them in the future. It’s not worth it if they’re damaged. I could’ve just bought the standard edition if that was going to be the case.

I don’t understand all the people crying that it’s sold out. They’ve had it up for pre order since the movie was released in theaters back in October. That’s why they give you the opportunity to pre order stuff because it’s probably going to sell out fast. Thank you Best Buy. The artwork is great and I love the movie. It came fast. I just wish Best Buy would ship it with more protection. These regular envelopes scare me with the steelbooks and getting dented. Thank goodness mine was perfect.

Decent enough movie. Can never top the original but still a fun watch

Believe it or not, I am frightened of scary movies. (Duh!, that's why they are scary.) I just felt that Halloween was too cutesy. I find it offensive. So I got this movie to try to bring the scary back into Halloween. There are things worth being frightened of, we could think of those things on Halloween, instead of how cute our kid looks.

First off they executed the flashback scene very well especially the Dr loomis parts then the movie def lives up to its name with Michael killing 31 people a lot of people complained about the ending but it’s the second movie of a planned trilogy so it’s not supposed to have one it’s a bridge movie and it’s one of the best Halloween films to date except for the mob hospital scene where they should have cut that part out

I saw "Extended Cut" and "Alternative Ending" on the slipcover of the blu-ray so I had to pick this up. I saw the theatrical version at the movie theater and I enjoyed the movie for what it was. The ending surprised me so I was curious to see what an alternative ending would have been. It comes with great extras which I haven't had the time to view yet, but will someday. All in all a great purchase.

Halloween Kills picks up immediately where Halloween (2018) left off. It begins with a 1978 flashback that blends perfectly with the original movie, and it features numerous characters from the original (some of whom are the original actors reprising their roles). From start to finish, this movie leaves the viewer intrigued, as well as anticipating the final installment, Halloween Ends, which is scheduled to be released next year.

I really liked this movie, which isn't as goofy as the first entry in the latest revival. The soundtrack is spectacular, especially in Atmos. The extended cut adds a bit more gore, one extended scene, and a new ending, which was cut because it doesn't quite fit the continuity of Halloween Ends, which I also highly recommend. I love how each entry in the trilogy is different.

Stays entertaining as long as you don't stop and think about what the plot hinges on too much. The scares are creative and they certainly outdid themselves in bringing back as many characters and actors from the original that they could. Also has the highest kill count of the franchise (at the time of writing, which predates the sequel Halloween Ends).

If you love the Halloween franchise, you should find some enjoyment from this newest entry. You get the 4K disc, Blu-ray disc and digital code. Includes two cuts of the film, theatrical and extended. Features good picture quality and a nice assortment of special features. Audio commentary with Director/Co-director David Gordon Green and starts Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer.
