This is my favorite game at the moment. I was debating on getting this or Call of Duty 4. But when i found out that you can only play co-op online and not offline with Call of Duty 4, that's what made me decide to get Halo 3 instead. I later rented Call of Duty 4, but i got bored, and ended up wasting my money on that rental. Halo 3 has tons of featured game modes like capture the flag, rocket race, infection, oddball, bomb assault, team doubles, big team, head to head, 4 vs 4, co-op campaign. You can also customize levels and game types. It's the best game in my opinion.

Halo 3 fixes some things from halo 2. There is less auto aim and the campaign is a bit better. You can now also edit maps (a bit) to customize them more to your liking. However, overall it plays as Halo 2.5, and its launch maps are not that impressive. Time will tell how this game does compared to its predecessors, but if initial sales are any indicator, gamers will be playing this one for years to come.

I bought this the first day it came out and have not stopped playing it since. the campaign on easy takes about 4 hours and on Legendary it takes about 8 hours to finish. The online is good but the ranked online game types are kind of bland. There is not "only snipers game type or SWAT like in Halo 2. The online achievements are really easy and you can pretty much get every campaign achievement just playing through on legendary. Overall this is a very good game.

best halo ever, recommend to any game players. graphics are awesome on 360. HINT: watch the ENTIRE credits after beating the game, you'll miss out on....???

This game is amazing. I use to be a playstation person so I didnt really get into the Halo games. I played a little of the first two and then just got the third. It is worth all of the hype. After Im done with this one I will go out and play the other two. The co op play is great and driving around with the vehicles was the coolest thing ever. I love the tank I found around level 6. Check this title out. Everybuddy on my friends list is playing this game.

Overall amazing game, microsoft and ungie did amazing on this game. Some small gliches, but no big deal. One of the best game syou can buy for your 360.

Halo 3 is the first Halo for 360 and is consequently superior in graphics and less lag. However, this game turns repetitive quickly after some playing time.

great game, alot of fun with your friends. for me, the campaign and online lags sometimes, but othr than that great. bettr than the first 2 games.

this game is awesome, its going to have better online, new weapons, vehicles, and new multi player maps.

This game will give u hours of fun if u play by yourself, co-op, or just multiplayer with friends and not to mention online play is awesome.....

I think this is one of the best games I have ever played..but i said that about 2. and 1. So i dont know what to expect for 4. It is flawless.

I reccomend this game highly... The gameplay is awsome and xbox live and multiplayer split screen is really sweet. I would give this game a 5/5.

The game in total is great and is one of the best games that I have ever played. Yet after beatibg the game several times it becomes very repeatitive.

This is probably the most entertaining Xbox 360 game I've played to date. I can't wait to get my butt kicked on the multiplayer death matches.

Halo 3 is a great game and worth the money, IF you enjoy online gaming. If you are coming for the story you wont be as pleased as you were with Halo and Halo 2. Although the story isn't amazing there is no doubting Halo 3 is a must own. With excellent and in depth online that does break the boundaries of online play you will be amazed by the 4 player co-op of the campaign and Halo never gets too boring online if you and your friends hop on for some multiplayer. If you dont have it, buy it you should enjoy it. However if you want a story, only rent this game.

the games a lot better if u hav xbox live but if u dont its still a pretty good game, just look at my "What's great about it" box above.
