Never has there been a smoother first person shooter. Its online competition is rivaled by no other game. Halo 3 has completely furthered the public's usage of Xbox live. Once you get through a challenging story mode on the difficulty of your choice, you realize that Bungie has created another awesome game. A game that obviously, was time well spent to produce a viable and captivating story, while keeping up with today's standards of good gaming graphics. The cinematography of all the cut films was also astoundingly entertaining to watch and follow, enthralling your mind further into the game. Moving further into the mindset of Spartan 117. This game set records for good reasons. It is a legend in it's time, and most likely will continue to be in years to come. Halo 3 will occupy its gamers undoubtedly until the next generation of gaming comes to the world.

I must admit, that Halo3 did not live up to its hype. DO not get me wrong, this is very a very good game, but it is just too much like its predecessor, Halo2. I was expecting grand graphics, but it looked too much like Halo2. The campaign missions are a joke, I almost beat the game with a friend (on normal difficulty) in about 5-6 hours. The battles are way too linear and you always have to fight, fight, fight. At times, you just wish you would move on, instead of fighting another wave of flood. On the plus side, the multiplayer is of course very fun. Killing each other still has that same good feeling as it had in Halo3. The new maps and vehicles are pretty cool, but sometimes it feels that they were just tacked on, and are pointless. The new record-your-game thing is pretty cool, and the map editor, fun. Overall, id give this game a 3 or 4, and do not recommend this game. Id say stick with Halo2.

The story is finally complete. Halo 3 delivers an excellent game with great graphics, a good story, and fun game play. It also has a great multiplayer with lots of different maps and game modes. I gave it a four star rating because I do not think it lived up to all of its hype, but that doesn't stop it from being one of the best games of '07. Well worth the money spent on it because it has a good multiplayer that gives it a lot of replay value. This game does a good job of filling in what has been going on in the series so far. So whether you are a fan of the series or someone who is playing a Halo game for the first time, you won't feel lost as to what is going on in the game. It is obviously recommended for any fan of the series, but I would recommend it to anyone who has not played a Halo game before because in-and-of-itself, it is a great game.

For those that liked or loved Halo 1 and/or Halo 2, you will love this game. It is the same basic gameplay, but much more fun in so many different ways. There are a slew of new weapons, and an entirely new array of equipments (such as bubble shields, grav lifts, etc.). The online gameplay is just as addictive and fun as with Halo 2, if not better. The single player campaign is improved as well, including a second character (The Arbiter) throughout the game, allowing seamless transition into co-op. Plus, the graphics are better, so what's not to like? The storyline is the only thing that is a bit difficult to follow for those who don't know much about the first two Halos, but then again, that's kinda what one would expect. Overall, this game is amazing and an absolute "must buy" for anyone who owns a 360.

Halo 3 is an exceptional game to buy. First off, let me say that this was the first game in the Halo series that I actually played through and I still understand the main concepts of the story. The campaign can almost be compared to a unique action movie, but on the downside it was a little short to my standards. The maps are great on this game, and the forge mode allows you to customize them to fit your style. Last but not least, the multiplayer mode online is exciting. Being able to compete against players from all over the country let alone the world is quite enjoyable. What I am pretty much trying to say is that Halo 3 is a wonderful game and you wont regret buying it.

This is the first game I purchased with my Xbox 360 and it truly showed me of what the console is capable of. I've always heard positive things about the Halo series so I knew it would be necessary when playing my Xbox. It had amazing graphics and multiplayer (online awesome as well) but it actually solo game was a little short for my taste. Even though it was short I still give it 5 stars because of everything else the game had to offer me =)

I love this game even though I do not own it. I play it all the time at my friends house so much that I know almost everything there is to know. The graphics in the game are outstanding. You will be amazed. I like the fact that you can unlock different ways to customize your Spartan/Elite. The multiplayer in this game is soooo much fun!! I just can't get enough of it, and I also like being ranked. The campaign in the game is pretty fun, but it's without a doubt the easiest of the series. I know this because I've beaten every Halo game on legendary and this one I died hardly at all. Besides the campaign disappointment, Halo 3 is farout my favorite shooter(at the moment).

--I've tested the game and it's UNREAL--by far the best FPS and will lead the industry for years to come--Beta Testers were letdown earlier this year, but everything has been drastically improved. Graphics, Gameplay, Matchmaking,Achievements -4-way CO-OP campaign mode via splitscreen/XBOX LIVE---Topping what GEARS OF WAR did --GAME SAVE FILM & SHARE feature is out of this world. Kick some royal butt online, save and share with anyone on XBOX LIVE. Grab the popcorn men, because you'll be replaying your top online matches again and again --Regardless of this game being launched on a platform that has underpeformed with the 3-RED LIGHT -"Ring of Death" have no fear. Microsoft has stood behind their product TWICE for me. At no charge I've had my 360 replaced and back in working condition within 10-15 days. If this is holding you back from buying a 360 don't let it. I hear all new 360's with a product upc of March 07 or newer are in great shape. --High Def with 1080i highly advised. Not just for the hardcore gamer, but for the fan-base that truly appreciates a work of art when it comes to gaming. ENJOY!!!! ps--don't get Legendary---helmet is a plastic rip-off that faded in the sunlight. Save your $

Halo 3 is the one game every owner of a Xbox 360 needs to have. The updated graphics are fantastic. The Multiplayer is great as always, although some would say it needs a little more work. The Forge mode is a great addition to the game and can be lots of fun for those who like to take control and be creative. My personal favorite is the new Theater feature, where you can look over your replays and make clips, videos, and screenshots from Multiplayer, Campaign, etc. If there is anything I didn't enjoy in Halo 3 was the fact that I thought that the Campaign could have been a little better. Overall, Halo 3 is one of the best games I have ever played.

Excellent FPS, so far the Best Halo game. The Muti-player online is the best feature in this game, being able to have up to 4 players at one time doing the missions is great. The Achievements are great, about time MS got this part right with a nice mixture of solo play and mutiplayer. Some nice bonus as well, collecting all skulls lets you wear Samurai suit, completing the game on certain modes let you wear other armors. Only beef is same with most FPS is that the game is short in some sense but overall the Graphics and the story make up for it , as the story is very rich and it is one of the few games where you'll watch all the cut-scenes.

This is an awesome game, if you don't have a 360, you should buy a 360 just for this game. I haven't played the campaign yet, but I have played the multiplayer and forged. It is amazing, its fun doing the forge with friends, also the variety of weapons and equipment just makes it so much of a diverse game because you can play it in so many different ways. I like how they made no "dominant" weapons like they did in Halo 2 with the sword, you can be dominate like with the sniper, but its a skilled weapon the sword wasn't. The only bad thing is that the sniping is much more difficult but I guess it's something to get used to. Get it.

Halo 3 was a fantastic game. The storyline was compelling, exciting and had many plot twist. The game play and graphics were amazing! I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it looked like the game was real! The controls were easy to learn and convenient. It was not hard to shoot bad guys and I was not restricted in how I moved. I rate this game as a 9/10 because halo 3 wasn't very long. There were only nine levels and they were very awesome, but I wanted more. I wanted the game to last much longer. Halo 3 was an extraordinary game and I would recommend it to anyone who is a gamer!!!

The third game of the Halo trilogy is the best out of the three. The funnest part in my opinion is the online multiplayer. Sometimes though people can be rude, but there is an option to turn off the sound of the people talking. The online multiplayer can lag at sometimes during the game, but that happens very rarely. The weapons in Halo 3 are very fun to use. There is also an option to Forge or customize levels to add stuff you want. In the Forge you can add items to a level or move stuff that is already in the level anywhere. You can also name your customized map too.

To start this is the third game in a series of three. The first two games came out for the original Xbox. If you are just buying this game for the first time, you may not be familiar with the story. However, playing this game for the first time, MS and Bungie (makers of the game) did a very good job at keeping those who are new fans in tune with the story line. That storyline is based on the idea that you are a super human that has been created to fight in an ongoing war against the Covenant, who are invading aliens from another planet. With your ultimate goal being not to let them ever know the existence of Earth. However, in this game there are some interesting twist to the storyline and I'm not going to tell anymore about the story. The game itself plays very well and I feel graphically it is obviously the best in the series. The game itself has never been much for lifelike graphics, and if that is what you are looking for you may want to look elsewhere. However, the surroundings in this game as well as the cut scenes are the nicest this series has ever seen. The controls in this game are very well done, as they always are and are hard to rival. Also the Xbox controller is probably the best for FPS games. The online multiplayer in this game is also probably one of the best that is out there. The only one I can think of that can compete is COD 4 at this time, and that is all depending on what you're preferences are. The match making on Halo 3 is great and you will almost always be matched up with people of your skill level. Also you have a great selection of games, and maps on multiplayer. Xbox live has just recently added new maps for Halo 3 as well. If you are looking for a great FPS for the Xbox 360 this is the one for you.

Halo 3, one of the most anticipated videogames in history, has blown away millions of gamers with its new weapons, maps, and modes, and by providing a breathtaking ending to this industry-changing series. Not only has the campaign been drastically inproved from Halo 2, but it is now possible to play through the entire campaign with up to 4 people online. The online multiplayer was definetely the concentration when creating this game. With new game varients, weapons, and acheivements, it will be quite a while until this game gets old.

the new installment of halo has everything one could dream of. One of the new multiplayer games is called Forge. With forge, one can add things to the map such as vehicles, weapons, scenery, powerups and more. You can also move things around in the maps, and put yourslef into another spot on the map. The campaign mode has the best storyline out of all three of the halo games, and includes a slew of enemys and weapons. There are 10 new weapons that can be very useful when used correctly. Halo 3 is easily the best of the series.

Continuing a tradition of spectacular and amazing games, Halo 3 once again lives up to expectations and should be up for every video game award. The graphics are absolutely incredible, the variety of new weapons, grenades, and other items like bubble shields and regenerators make the game even more interesting and exciting, and the gameplay is great. The campaign mode exceeds any previous campaign, as i have never been more challenged or addicted to its levels on legendary. This is a must have game for all XBOX 360 owners.

I really enjoyed this game. Nothing is lacking in storyline here, and I left with a satisfied feeling. Every aspect of this game is incredible! As always with the Halo franchise, the multiplayer is great and the levels are fun and creative. I would like to note the addition of forge mode, where the player is able to alter a multiplayer level to their liking. My only con is that the game seems to be short on the easier difficulties, with some levels being noticeably easier than others. Have a great time with this!

Halo 3 is a fantastic ending to the Halo Trilogy. I loved the campaign but would have liked a longer one. Xbox Live allows this game to reach its full potential. With people forging maps and creating their own styles of the game it gives you TONS of things to keep you busy. Buy a 3 month Subscription jsut to test it, you will want more. Unlike COD4 you can have up to 4 users playing Xbox live off one console sat the same time. If you own a Xbox 360, you will need this game in your collection.

I bought this game at midnight o 1 at best buy. When i took this game home i was insently hooked. the graphics are awsome and the story line is good ( it is really short so if you dont have xbox live it might be just a rent for you unless you have lan partys). The online is the best set up of any online so far. the optimatch is better than servers and the ranking system is so easy to understand. any halo fan this game is a must or if your just looking to kick some monkey @$$ then buy this game.
