As a fun party game this game rocks. I've had many good times playing co-op and multiplayer with my friends. My only advice is don't take this game seriously. As a hardcore game it sucks. It gets boring fast and the many obsessive players take all the fun out of it. I really enjoyed it as a fun party game though. Me and my friends would have all kinds of fun goofing off like driving around in a mongoose just trying to drive over people or killing the hardcore obsessive guys and watching them leave after cussing everyone out. The theater mode and forge are pretty cool and some of the user-created content is actually really good. I would recommend this game to a friend but would warn them not to take it too seriously.

A great ending to the Halo trilogy, best game of all 3 games. but there are drawbacks... e.g. the weapons are either weak (the assault rifle) or have very little ammo capacity, the campaign is predictable: the enemies almost always do the same thing at the same time. the best part is the multiplayer: great maps and it is fun but i wouldn't buy w/out a Xbox live connection. the responsiveness isn't great but it does allow for minute movements for sniping and careful aiming.

From first impression, and my absolute unrelenting attention to my fav. seriese, this game is an automatic 5 Stars. If you've followed the story arc, then you'd know that Master Chief, main character, is set his course to Earth, to gaurd it from the incomming and present threat. Master Chief has gone through a lot in his course of time, from Halo to Delta Halo, and now back to Earth, only Bungie knows what's in store for us, but we'll all find out on Sep. 25, 2007, when the greatest game of all time streaks into the hands of millions of faithful customers and geeks alike! Enjoy Halo 3, and try not to let it plunge your grades... it might do so to I, so I am hoping I don't get in trouble <,< b

If you liked the guns in Halo2 and the gameplay/storyline of Halo, gotta love this one. The online play is sweet and so are the graphics. The game is kinda short but online play lasts forever.

campaing is too short and easy but a lot of fun is played on xbox live with friend, matchmaking ranked fights are awsome, great wapon selection, great graphics, and is recomemded to everyone

This game is one that every serious gamer needs to own and perfect his/her skills at. I have yet to find another game that plays better at lan parties with friends. The online ranking system, while not as good as COD4's in my opinion, is one of the best out there. One can even play co-op online now. The achievements are difficult enough to as to not make the game seem boring, although the skulls are one of those ones that I wish they would just leave out of games. The graphics are great, the appeal still remains for a long time, and it's one of those games you'll pull back out someday and enjoy playing during some summer you have nothing better to do.

This is a great continuation of the past 2 games but what it really lacked was difficulty at some times like you see a huge horde of enemies, oh look over there its a turret, then you mow them down with not much trouble. im not saying that its not fun to mow down huge hordes of enemies because it really is, but i couldnt feel that struggle to take cover or something. Multiplayer is very good, the only downside is you need DLC map packs to get the full exprience out of the game. Overall its a VERY good buy.

To start, I was not a big fan of Halo 2 and never even played Halo:CE until Halo 3 was out. I am completely engulfed in the MM part of this game. Pros: The amount of time one can spend playing MM alone is ridiculous. Add to that the ability to go watch your previous games, and even edit clips from them, and you can kiss your social life goodbye. Cons: The 6-8 Hour Campaign is short and bland. Rated on Campaign alone, Halo 3 would be average. Having to do it multiple times for achievements is nothing but a chore. Special Author Note: If you have ever touched an FPS before, buy this game. Just make sure you have Xbox Live.

Here it is nice and short... If you have 60 dollars just laying around and you have an XBOX360 buy this game, if you all ready dont have it... Done that is all i have to say

I loved the story line, it is a FAR better improvement from Halo 2. The online play is also a far better improvement, the only thing that determines skill sadly is who can hit who first... If you are able to punch your opponent before they can hit you, all you need is to tap the trigger and poof, they're dead. I don't know, I guess you could say I'm still too spoiled from Halo 1 heh. Other then that, its a great game! I deff recommend buying it, the replay value is beyond imaginable. I also love the skull idea along with the online co-op up to four people, although it kind of makes Legendary a joke if all four of you know what you're doing.

This game is absolutely excellent. The graphics are breathtaking and is a great upgrade from Halo 2. New weapons, vehicles and maps make this game a MUST HAVE for the 360.

I got this as a birthday present and it's awsome, I've been wanting it for a while. I completed Halo, and Halo2, so I really wanted to see the conclusion in Halo3. I think the guys at Bungie did a really great job! But the campaign was a little short, but it was very good. The multiplayer on Xbox Live is very neat. I like the rankink system. I also like the fact that you can do the campaign, and forge on Xbox live. I like the file share also. It lets you post games and maps that you made in Forge :) so that other people can download them to play. If you are looking to buy this game, BUY IT NOW!!!! :)

Halo 3 is a good game. Campaign is good, but not as great as it could have been. The AI driving in campaign still lacks skill. The online is where this game excels, just as Halo 2. Online is where most gamers spend their hours. Plus, there is Forge, where you can edit maps by rearranging objects as you like. Plus, now you can watch replays of games and save them as films if you like. You can do all this with friends online as well. Plus, Online Co-Op for up to 4 people. Bottom line: I would recommend this game to some with Xbox Live. If you are just going to get this game for just campaign, I would rent it.

First of all the storyline sucked. It seemed that some of these level were actually from halo 1. The storyline was simply uninteresting and repetitive. The multiplayer and forge really sells it. With forge you could to everything from races to soccer to jumping 200 feet high with shotguns. and the normal online play was great. although after a while you realized that the whole game revolved around running up to someone jamming the trigger than hitting them. i.e. no SKILL AT ALL. Oh and the best multiplayer option ever to be created in a videome was put in. THE ABILITY TO MUTE OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE!!!!!!!

This game is a must have if you have an xbox 360!! Halo series is by far the most dominating game with highest reviews for xbox 360 in the market ever since its first release with halo:combat evolved. Great improved graphics and amazing online play. This game will keep you entertained for many many hours per day. I did not play halo 1 very much and did not play halo 2 at all only because i had no money. But after I finally got an xbox360 and halo3, I was much amazed by the improvement from the first halo. You dont need to play the older halo games in order to love this game.

This game is the reason I purchased an xbox 360. I have all three halo games now and this one is the newest one. This is one of my favorite games compared to Call of Duty 4. I love the controls which are easy to use. Also the campaign and graphics are wonderful. It is obvious that the designers of Halo 3 spent a lot of time designing the game. The online game play is also very nice. With XBox Live you are able to play co-op which I have used to my advantage and beaten the game on Legendary online. I like playing team deathmatch where all you have to do is kill.

The graphics are even better than Halo 2. The gameplay is very smooth and its easy to get around everywhere. Some of the maps are very big and take a little time to find things but that makes for plenty of hiding places. The single player campaign is great. It's not your run around and shoot things only kind of thing. You get to fly and drive all kinds of cool vehicles. My favorite is the tank. One shot usually does the trick. This game is great for single players and not just the popular multi-player gaming. I recommend this game to anyone and everyone.

This game is totally awesome. Simply put. The presentation and gameplay are great, just as Halo games have always been. The multiplayer has been improved from Halo 2 (even though a few erratic things still happen). The new Forge and Theater modes add a whole new level of awesomeness to the game as well. Even though, this game has a short campaign mode and does not have the best graphics on the Xbox 360, it still has the best multiplayer and probably the best gameplay. Hopefully Bungie and Microsoft will keep 'em coming while keeping the series fresh.

This game is truly amazing. I played Gears of War and thought there was no way Halo 3 could match that game. I was very wrong. Halo3 matched it and exceeded it. The game play is incredible and easy to get used to. There are a lot of buttons of the controller and using them all effectively is one of Halo's strong points. The graphics are 100 times better than Halo 2. I have yet to play online, but I have played other people by linking a few 360's together and that game play is incredible. All and all this game is wonderful and everyone should play it.

This maybe the best Halo yet. I normally like the games for the online gaming and playing with friends. This game brings so much to the online scene with new weapons and new maps. With new features and styles of gaming, Halo 3 brings an all new meaning to online gaming. Play in teams or on your own against the rest of the planet as the better you play the better you are ranked. Customizing your player above and behind the normal. Express yourself differently than the next guy. I recommend this game for those who like online battle scenario games.
