I enjoy all the halo games. Great online multiplayer.

It was good, especially of you know the story line.

We got this for my son's xBox and he likes the adventures this game creates. It was bit difficult getting started, but he really likes it now. He's got most of the Halo series and plays with his cousins a lot.

This is one of the best games on the XBOX 360. Brilliant graphics and challenging gameplay bring the UNSC's ill-fated battle to save Reach from destruction to life. This game follows a party of SPARTANS as they try to defend the planet Reach (an Earth colony# against an alien horde bent on the destruction of the Human race. The action take place on the ground #both on your feet and in vehicles), in the air and even in space. Graphics are outstanding and gameplay is exciting. The animation in the cut scenes is smooth and fluid, worthy of the big screen. The controls are fast and responsive whether your controlling the SPARTAN on the ground or in the pilot seat of a vehicle. There's an array of cool weapons ranging from pistols, to sniper rifles to heavy weapons. All feel different and have different uses. There's also an asortment of enemies, each with different strengths and weaknesses. You need to stay on your toes the whole game. One thing HALO has that most FPS games do not is a well-developed story. HALO is a vast universe to explore and this game gives you the starting point of the HALO saga. In my opinion, HALO has one of the nest developed story of any gaming franchise and the best for any FPS. If you like action or sci-fi, you'll enjoy your HALO experience. If you own an XBOX 360, this is one of THE essential games to own.

Appears to be cashing in on the Halo name. Not really Halo material. Very disappointed. Played it once. Boring.

A little shortsighted in the game world. halo, I expected more from you. Shame on us both.

There are other ways to defeat "enemies" without the use of excessive violence.

i love this game and i just think it was just the best possible way that they could have ended their long series of what i think is one of the best on the X-box 360 what i like about this game is almost every thing the graphics but mostly the overall game. i love the multiplayer and i think its the best one that they have made yet. i also enjoy the campaign in all the halos but i think this one just pulled a little in front of the others with their original vehicles that they just added and the new type of unlocking items. but what i was most amazed about was the forge. i could not believe how great they made it with all the new settings such as colors and the ways that you are able to place thing and the new thing that you could create out of it. when i got this game and tested this out i was truly stunned and i hope that whoever Bungie passes the gauntlet down to create the next game does just as good a job as they have for the past years. i would recommend this to anyone even if this is not the usual type of game that they play.

It is more fun than Halo 4. Enjoyed the coop campaign

I am a fan of all the halo games. This game was good but not better than some others in the franchise. Definitely worth getting though! There are new/different weapons in this game than previous halos. It is cool how it ends where the first clip from halo: combat evolved, you get to see how it all started! You can customize the spartan or elite a lot, and can buy multiple different helmets, armor, voices, etc. Another cool thing with this game is that there are special abilities you can use like hologram, the jet pack(which is awesome), sprint, invisibility/active camo, evade, and armor lock (makes you invulnerable but immobilized). This game has a lot of cool maps for matchmaking online and a lot of different types of games in custom games, firefight, and matchmaking. Of course it still has he Forge option as well.

i've had this game for a few weeks and i like this game a lot. this game is more my speed where it takes little skill to kill other teammates. the exp is also very nice and it is very easy to level up. i also like that they give you daily and weekly challenges that are an added bonus towards leveling up. i also like that you can earn credits and buy cool armor. i'd say that the forge is the best part of the game. BUNGIE majorly improved on the forge so you dont need to stack things like you did in halo 3. i wish you would get more pieces in forgeworld. the price for this game is also decently priced. i recommend this to a friend. i look forward to halo anniversary and halo 4.

Don't worry its not Bungies last halo game.. according to the earlier post. people are just assuming.. but lets get to the Review. The multiplayer beta has surpassed any multiplayer game by far! and its only the beta.. now if you dont have live your experiance with this game WILL be different. the story is good but believe when i say the multiplayers better! graphics are awesome considering the earlier halo 3 and how far they have come. the weapon presets are really well installed into the multiplayer. Anyone who have watched the vidocs will tell you that the differnce between past halos and this one will be EPIC.. scarier enemies, and huge amounts of NPCs at once are incredible for all out battles. the beta is the best thing out since the first week of MW2 when there was no glitched lobbies and hacked leaderboards.. Go out and buy it, i recommend the legendary considering the stuff included but as long as you get the game your money will be well spent!!

This game is showing great promise. the beta multilayer is great. the graphics are great, the new load out system works great for different maps. the game's campaign looks like it will be very good much like Halo combat evolved. this WILL be Bungie's last halo game, so i'm sure Bungie will go all out on making this game the best made.

Halo: Reach introduces plenty of new things to the series. Everything about this game stands out and creates an experience you will remember and won't put down for many years to come. I have not finished the campaign but I hear it is great. Tons of fun playing alone or with up to 3 other players, with a varying difficulty so all types of gamers can enjoy, from young to old, hardcore to casual. What shines more than anything, has always been Halo's multiplayer, and with Reach, they held nothing back. Joining games is quick and easy, playing with friends is fun and exciting. There are tons of game types, new maps, and something that brings a whole new dimension to the Halo multiplayer universe: armor abilities. This steps up competitive multiplayer to an all new level and is a total blast. Bungie loves to pack the gaming experience with tons of features. You can change your appearance, earn game credits to buy new armor, watch player submited videos, build your own maps, and watch replays of any game you play. Expect to see Bungie release new maps, and I've heard they will release player submitted maps also. This is a top rated game. A must own. I've been playing the Halo games since it first released on XBox. Halo 3 began to get old, but this game has renewed my love for the series and promises to keep my interest as long as the first 3 games combined did. Get it.

I was a big halo CE and halo 2 fan but wasn't so much of halo 3 but reach is actually really good. I thought it was going to bomb after ODST was so bad but it surprised me. Good campaign, and exceptional multiplayer. The only problem is there aren't enough maps for multiplayer but with the new forge its easy for people to make good maps.

This is a must buy for a Halo fan! We finally get a great campaign and multi player experience. Excellent extras like the forge and theater. The online multiplayer is the best since #2. Top notch controls, great game types and well balanced weapons. Wish there was a flying space combat mode in matchmaking but maybe we will see that in the future.

Totally Addicted to this game!! Superb graphics, video, and audio. Great campaign and multiplayer experience. Many options for play with theatre capability for capturing and posting game play. Forging capability for creating maps and game types.

well if you've played all of the other halos then you will probably be convinced that halo is xbox's biggest game franchise i played the beta for reach it was the best thing i've ever played before. this game has alot of improvments, for example the graphics are really crisp and realistic not something you'd expect from a sci fi game like this but all games are like this now. a few things that i don't like is the fact that it's another prequel to the halo series just like halo wars and odst. another is the weapons dont look the same the assault rifle is alot longer than the original the plasma rifle was really improved though. New weapons like the plasma grenade launcher , unsc grenade launcher, and a needle rifle which was the needler. lots of improvments in the game since halo 3. oh and the abilities like the jetpack, sprint, assasination, and the invincability, another problem is that you have to buy armor instead of unlocking them which is alright if you just want to play reach online.i recommend playing the original halos if your new or just want to rememeber the good ol days. I hope to play halo reach as soon as it comes out for sale.
