This is a very nice package, basically filled with 4 full games - 4 campaigns and 4 multiplayers with overhauled visuals and new forge canvases. While some of the games may be old, their graphics have been pumped up for modern visuals. I was especially impressed with some of the lighting parts in the games, especially in Halo 2 Anniversary. If you have an xbox one, you must own this game. And be wary of some server issues. These kinks will get ironed out in the first week on release so please don't be frustrated.

Excellent game with amazing graphics and gameplay. Online is messed up but when it gets fixed it will be the best game out there.

I will keep this short and sweet. This game includes all 4 Halo games, including Halo CE Anniversary running at 60FPS, a remastered Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4; a Halo 5 beta; access to Halo Nightfall; over 100 multiplayer maps; and the icing on the cake: 450 achievements with 4500 possible gamerscore. All of this for $60! If you are any type of Halo fan, I don't see how you NOT have this in your collection. Now excuse me, I have about 950 more multiplayer matches to win!

Best remake ever made, one of the best shooters of all time, simple as that, 4 full games for the price of one.

This game was very broken when I first received it at launch, but they have since patched it to make it more playable. The multiplayer is still sub-par and not what I was expecting. I was told it would be similar to the Halo 2 multiplayer ranking system, but is nothing like it. The campaigns are rock solid however, and really provide some nostalgia going back and playing the older games.

Online is broken,however the campaigns are some of the greatest ever made in my lifetime. Updated visuals are impressive

If you've never played the numbered Halo campaigns, or it's been awhile, this is the best place to experience them again or for the first time. All four campaigns play beautifully, but there are still unfortunate issues plaguing the multiplayer. If competitive multiplayer is your only reason for wanting this game, waiting may be prudent; however, there is more than enough campaign gameplay to keep you busy until everything is ironed out on the multiplayer side of things.

A classic! Best way to play them all. First game I got for Series X.

Online was broken and dthe entire game was in shambles for a long time, so if I were to do this review when the game came out i wouldve given it a 1 star, but they fixed it up with their last update so its good now guys! buy it you wont regret it. Also the more people who buy it the easier it gets to find matches online for matchmaking. Which is like everyones favorite part about this game.

I only gave it 4 stars because of the bugs. They did a good job remastering the graphics though.

This is a compilation of previous Halo games, playable for the first time on Xbox One. Halo 2, in particular, has been completely redone from the ground up specifically for Xbox One, and it's fairly impressive. If you're a fan of the Halo series, you shouldn't miss this. On the other hand, if you have already played all of the previous games on Xbox 360, you're not going to find heaps of new content here.

It is great to see all of this story together in one package but I am sitting two months later with a non reliable multiplayer experience and a horrible time keeping connected with my party in co-op campaign. The controls and single player campaign ports are great and I can't complain there but it is a shame the ball was dropped on co-op play.

I was a bit excited to load up this game only to find they "prettied" up the graphics for the maps/arenas of all the older titles of Halo. The gameplay is still the same, which for its day was decent but these days everything feels extremely dated. I had hoped that this would have been a true update in both graphics and gameplay but this just includes pretty skins placed over the old game. If they had been able to offer us the smoothness and gameplay of Halo 5 this would have been a winner, not to say that Halo 5 doesn't have its own shortcomings. I would not pay more than $10 for this title if you wish to play some of the older titles. I can't imagine anyone enjoying this title much had they not played the original Halo games in the eras when they were first released. 343 studios just doesn't seem to have their stuff together nor can they release a solid product like Bungie, the original authors of Halo could.

All I can say is HALO 2 !!!!!!!!!!!! why else !!!!!

The Master Chief Collection is compiled of the legacy of Halo. This wasn't just nostalgia for me, but a breath of fresh air that allowed me to bring my kid along on a journey that defines adventure and discovery! Reliving those epic moments and watching the next generation marvel at the remastered splendor of awesome is a magical experience!

There is simply no better deal than this collection. You get 4 classic games remastered for HD, as well as all the multi-player maps and early access to the Halo 5 Multiplayer Beta. Even if you were just a fan of one of these titles it is worth picking up. It will bring back a lot of great memories and the games are still extremely fun to play.

So I got this at launch and it was a nightmare. Servers werent working, party system either. Since then, they fixed it. And they did a great job. I really enjoy this now that they ironed out all the issues, but just wish more people played it. It takes a little bit to find a game, but totally worth it to play Halo 3 again.

I got an Xbox One at the beginning of the year and the down side was that none of the games are backwards compatible. So it was nice to be able to buy one game that had all 4 Halo titles on it. Been playing the very first one, they've tweeked it a little bit with the graphics and the controls, which I'm not thrilled about but will get use to. Overall, a good buy.
