Since he's in college, this kettle is a perfect fit for him.; it heats up water quickly (teens are notoriously impatient), looks 'cool', and is easy to use. It seems to be pretty durable as well.

This great kettle provides me with just what i wanted. While I'm getting my tea, coffee, etc ready the water is heating up and in no time (5 minutes) the water is hot and stays that way for quite sometime. A wonderful product an even better price.

Just awful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The kettle looks great and works great, but as soon as I opened the box, the kettle was already cracked and bits of plastic had fallen off around where you attach it to the base. Since it still worked fine, I decided it wasn't worth the bother of returning it. However, now a few weeks later, there is suddenly the smallest of cracks at the bottom of the kettle, causing it to leak and rendering the kettle useless. I'm really disappointed.
