Great coffeemaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this coffeemaker after reading the reviews and am very happy I did. It is easy to operate, with well placed controls. The carafe is sturdy and DOESN'T SPILL! The water reservior is wide so it's easy to fill, with markings on BOTH sides of the machine so you can see how much water is in there. At first I grumbled because it seemed twice as slow as my previous coffeemaker, but this makes coffee that's at least 3x better than my old one (and is quiet) so the comparable slowness doesn't matter.

All in all a good coffee maker for the money.

Buyer beware

When I received it the lid to the reservoir was badly warped. I should have returned it to Best Buy. Instead I contacted H/B to try to get a new lid. The only parts available were the carafe and it's lid. They gave me instructions to disable the unit and sent me a new one. Guess what? The reservoir lid was warped on the new one. Not as bad and useable but warped never the less. The quality control on this product is poor at best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
