This is a basic no-frills toaster. Based on your preference from least to most toasted you turn a knob that reminds me of an old-fashioned radio dial with settings between 1 and 7, put the bread in, push down and it pops up. Doesn't get much simpler than that! I should also mention that there are a few good features such as the same lever you use to push down to toast is also used to further elevate the bread higher so that you don't have to reach in and burn your fingers (what a relief!), a "cancel" button in case you want to stop toasting before the cycle ends, and the convenience of being able to wrap the cord on one side of the unit neat and tidy. I have only one criticism to add if you like your selection well-done and you toast it again (particularly with frozen bread slices) it doesn't always evenly toast, sometimes it comes out burnt in a small corner while the rest is uniformly dark. My solution to this problem is to toast it once on a high setting, then flip the bread over, upside down and on the other side on a low setting of about 2 or 3--works like a charm! Well, what do you expect at this price--perfection?! Like I said, it's a simple toaster but right for the price!

My red toaster is just what was advertised, and what I needed. Attractive, it toasts well, so far I've tried bagels, whole wheat toast and hamburger rolls. It is light weight with a very short cord and you need to push the lever up to take toast higher for ease of taking out. These are not problems that disturb me, so I give it a 5.

Overall, toasts decently evenly on both sides. I set it on the lowest 1-2 settings and haven't burnt my toast yet, though periodically, one edge appears to be more browned. I love the color scheme, sharp look on my counter. The compact size is also great.

completely satisfactory - the bread is held securely regardless of thickness, the cooking is consistent time to time and side to side, and i don.'t think it takes up any more space on the counter than my old toaster.

I like it very much and I have been using it for more than a month. I don,t have any issues and is very good usage for toasting. lite weight, good in color. working good.

Works great! Just set dials on how light or dark you want your toast and it comes out nicely. Extra Wide slots perfectly toast bagels also.
