    When I opened the box, product was already damaged. It was scratched up with black marks. I like a lighter stick blender, this Hamilton Beach is too heavy. Buttons are located on top rather than in front. This makes it less user friendly. I don't recomend this product for a beginner.

    I think I returnes it . the size was too big, don't even remember buying it

    I used to have a food processor and a blender but haven't in many years. I miss making my famous Potato Leek soup and Corn Chowder! So, my husband bought me this hand blender for Christmas. Oh. My. Word!!! It is SO EASY to make creamed soups and without the mess - just blend right in the pan! I have also gotten into nutritional milk shakes that just don't blend well by stirring or shaking, especially if you want to add fruit or berries. Well, with this blender, it's a snap! I even add chopped ice and it crushes it further to make a nice, thick shake!
