Being able to remove the grates to clean was the most important feature to me. For some reason, I expected to receive more than the two plates though. I guess I assumed there were two grill plates AND two griddle plates; but alas there’s only one if each. It is larger and heavier than I expected.

It is so much better than out previous George Forman Grill. Removable plates for cleaning is a plus. We have had it for a while and use it often. No complaints!

It heats up quickly and I love that you can remove the grill and griddle plates for cleaning in the dishwasher.

It lacks an on/off switch, the plug suffices for that. It is built well and is pretty heavy, much beefier than our old Forman.
