After reading the good reviews on this one I decide to buy it. In a week the display literally melt. I had a waffle maker next to the steamer so I guess it was the heat of the waffle maker. I liked the steamer a lot so I decide to give a second chance and bought it again.The second steamer stop working in 2 weeks.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this steamer (from another company but I thought you should know) and it worked great for about 2 weeks. After that when I would try to cook hard boiled eggs it would shut off prematurely. I'm guessing that it would over heat and shut itself off. I thought that perhaps I just got a lemon, so I took it back and exchanged it for another one. It did the same thing. It still works fine for the leaf vegetables I cook but I want to steam hard boiled eggs also. I'm going to trash this one and buy another brand--not even going to bother with another return.
