this product is just what I needed., works great all the time

I purchased this hand mixer a little over a year ago and the motor burned out when I was almost done mixing my cookie batter. Yes, the mix was a little thick but it was on low speed and there were no warning signs like change in motor noise or burning smell. I thought it had just over heated and would work after letting it cool off. It has been a few weeks since it shut off and it has officially died. I only got 5 uses out of it over the year of having it. I had just started to make lactation cookies as a weekly thing for myself and a co-worker as we are both nursing and I needed to help boost my supply. When it did work, it was great. However, not great to last for only 5 uses and within a years time of storage. I could understand if I used it weekly for the duration of ownership, especially how I remember doing a lot of research on picking this one out. I will now be looking into the Kitchen Aide standing mixer and continue to use my half broken but still working very old Cusiinart hand mixer that must be 20 years old from my grandma.
